Easy installation

I order this for my Toyota avalon but it came in pieces which was not too hard to put together. The issue is that the piece is very stiff where the band connect to the mirror. I couldn't get the phone stand to stay put around the mirror. Another issue is that once the phone stand is around the mirror it will complete cover your rear view mirror which I think posy a safe consign if I am driving and can't see the back using my rear view. I was disappointed with not being able to use this product. Quality is steady and of good quality.

This replacement mount is specifically for mirror mounted rear view camera monitors.These rear view camera monitors are held with elastic straps that attach to a plastic hook. If the hook breaks it can not be easily replaced.This mount solves that problem. The mounts are designed to permanently mount to the back of the rearview camera and create new hooks for the elastic straps to attach.The permanent part of the mount uses a screw type tightening system that seems a little hard to understand at first but actually does a great job when completed and you only need to do this once. The mount stays with the rear view monitor not with the mirror.I do wish that the replacement elastic straps were longer. My original straps are a lot longer than the replacements.As a reference, my rear view monitor is a Haloview BT-11 system for RV trailers but this mount fits many similar monitors as well.I purchased this just in case my hooks ever break and I will only use these replacements if that happens. I am glad I have them just in case.
