Too cute
I haven't tried it yet, is for a birthday gift. I think it will be a great little present. I like that it is reasonably priced considering the age range it's meant for will likely use it once lol and be done with it after 30 minutes.

Good gift, but so functional
Bought it as a gift to myself. Well assembled, big buttons, nice animations. I like that you get different fairies each time – and never know which one will be next. Also, you don't lose your progress when turn the toy off (which is good in comparison to classic tamagotchi). However, there are only two mini-games and a feeding function. Nevertheless, it's a cute toy that kids (and kidults like me) would enjoy!

Absolutely adorable
Bigger than expected! The screen is perfect for a 6 year old! It lights up and isnt too annoying with all the noises it makes, which is perfect if you are familiar with most pocket pets and their consistent alarms.

Cute!
I bought this for my daughter for Christmas. It’s so cute. But we haven’t really understood how to use it.

Meh. Not as good as I thought it would be.
It's a cute idea and I like the idea of raising a fairy pet from an egg, caring for it, etc. But this toy misses the mark in several ways:1) Display issues. The blacklighting is really weak and difficult to see I'm low lighting. Also, the icons for menu selection are SO TINY they are all but impossible to read.2) Feeding your pet, you never see it eat. Bummer. That was a cute part of old school Tamagochis. Thr options are also limited to just 2 foods.3) There is no bathing/brushing feature.4) Playing with your pet..... isn't playing with your pet. You just play an isolated and boring game that has nothing to do with your pet. It doesn't fetch, learn tricks, find anything.... you play a boring game repeatedly. That's it.The one thing I do like about this toy is that thr pet never dies. It just flies away if you don't care for it enough. But that's about it.

Batteries leaking
Sadly the batteries in this item were leaking. When I opened the shipping box I noticed something was leaking. I was so confused. Then further inspection of the item. I noticed that the item had been opened and a zip bag containing three batteries were placed inside the item. I also noticed that it had been resealed with packing tape. I then found that to be suspicious and noticed that the tab for the batteries had been pulled out. So that the toy could be placed on demo mode. I saw that indeed batteries were in the toy but it was not working. I took the batteries out and realized that the entire compartment was wet. I was confused at first and then realized it was battery acid and that is what was in the bottom of the shipping box. I also became concerned due to the fact that I was holding all three batteries and had battery acid on my hands. This is sold by Amazon reseller and I’m not sure where the toy came from or how old they are. But the batteries were old enough to have gone bad and whoever resold them knew the toy was not working to put new batteries inside of the box the toy came in. This is a hard no for me. The toy is no longer usable.
