I ordered 4 of these bulbs to replace older & less efficient ones for my dining room. The description says white light with the special feature of being dimmable. I missed 2 reviews that noted that they were NOT dimmable. Unfortunately I only found that out when they arrived and I installed them. So they're NOT really what I ordered (dimmable) but they are energy A white light bulbs and arrived very quickly.

Phillips low wattage bulb excellent quality just when ordering check the color of the light. There is a color bar, which tells you which one it does. I have bought a few of these and this model which I have bought suits my needs hope this helps. I have an on and off switch comes on instantly no flickering. hope this helps.

A lot more light than my old 6w lamps. The Philips ultra efficient range don't get hot so I expect they will last much longer.

NOT Dimmable

it does what it says on the tin

Despite being advertised on Amazon with a “Special Feature“ of being dimmable, which I specifically needed, once these arrived I can now see on the box that they are NOT dimmable! Very very frustrating.
