Price per Kwh King!
I've owned the E1500LFP for a few months now, and have been very happy with it so far. I live in California and our electric company will shut off the power several times a year during fire season. We'll also lose power in the rainy season due to tree branches taking down power lines.I live in a rural wooded area, so I'd estimate we go 1-2 weeks a year without power. That's gotten very annoying as I work from home in IT and need power to work. So I researched a lot of brands for battery storage under $1000 and Pecron seemed to be the best value. It's a no frills brand that focuses on the basics. Which suited me just fine because I don't want to pay extra for frills. The unit is built well, and with 1536Wh was higher than other brands in the same price range. I don't currently have any solar panels, but hope to add some eventually, along with the expansion batteries. Once I have that setup, I should be able to run my entire work from home setup off of the battery during the day, even if there's power outages. There are a few features I would like to see added/improved. First, the mobile app isn't very good. I think this is Pecron's first unit with a compatible mobile app. So I'm glad they have one at all. But you can tell it's new as it doesn't do much. I'm hopeful that they'll improve on it over time.I would love it if they added the ability to schedule when the unit will draw power from the AC outlet. I'm currently using the unit to help lower my electric bill, but charging it from a wall outlet overnight, and then using it to power my networking equipment when electricity is expensive (3pm-12am). I'm currently using a $20 smart outlet to schedule this, and have the Pecron plugged into it. But it would be nice to be able to schedule this on the unit itself. The other issue with the app is the data it collects. Why does it need to know my precise location to function? Or need access to my photos and videos? I would like to see the data collection of the app reduced, as Pecron is based in China and I don't feel comfortable giving the app access to everything the app is asking for. So I don't use the app, and instead point an old security camera I wasn't using at the unit's display so I can check the battery percentage from my phone instead of climbing up to the attic. Here are a few pros and cons on the unit:ProsPriceBuild QualityExpandableLots of solar inputsFriendly Customer SupportConsMobile app lacks featuresMobile app collects lots of user dataIn summary, it's a great unit. If you ignore the app it's a perfect product for my needs. And thankfully, apps can be updated over time. So I am hopeful that Pecron will improve the app it so that it's as great as the battery.UPDATE: 6/5/24Pecron reached out to me regarding details on the app data collection. Here's what they said:"Regarding the data it collects you mentioned, please allow us to explain the reason for knowing the exact location is that the APP has a built-in Bluetooth connection, which requires location permissions in order to smoothly connect to nearby devices, and if you don't have the permissions, you can't search for nearby devices. If you turn on the sharing function, you need to call the phone camera, so you need camera permissions. The acquired data is only for the normal communication between APP and host, we will not save it. "

Great entry level device, even better customer support
I only just got this device the other day but im already impressed. I have been doing testing to power a 12v fridge and so far everything is going great. The fridge is a bit inefficient so i might want to expand this with another battery, but ill know more after i take it out camping. The build quality is great, solar charging is great, I really wanted something that had more solar input, but at 700w this is still a great solution, and after finding out that you can extend the solar input if you get an expansion battery. This might just be the best starter option if you are unsure of your needs.and i feel that if i end up buying a few expansion batteries and some more solar for maybe longer van trips or something it wouldnt be a waste if i upgraded to the e3600 which is their new unit because all of those items would work with that as well, and then id still be able to use the e1500 as a backup for more non essential items. This is just a great unit overall.I will also say that so far customer service is extremely responsive, they helped me fix my order once i messed it up trying to get a prime day deal, and they made sure i got the parts i needed and refunded the items i didnt. I feel like that really says something about their company. I hope their Customer support team maintains this high standard in the future, because i think that coupled with the quality of product they are putting out will make for some serious competition for other companies like ecoflow and bluetti which i hear do not have the greatest support.

Very good power station,but.
I like the pecron LFP1500 charges up fast from the home wall outlet in an hour or so and up to 700 max via solar power/panel. The app is basic to control the power station from your phone. Good for weekend camping trips. My biggest issue is the 6 USB ports, 4 of them are USB-A and all output at 18watts. Of the other two USB-C ports only one of them charge at 100watts the other USB-C charge 18watts the same as the USB-A ports. This is a capable power station and we know the USB-C is able to output higher wattages than USB-A. I would have liked to have seen that in the second USB-C port.

Quality Build & pretty efficient!
When I got this E1500LFP, it sounded like little squirrels inside, because both fans were noisy. I opted to have Pecron send me fans so I could replace them when I got time. Had a trip planned & it worked great & noise was not a problem on this trip. We charged drone batteries all day long & ran a cooler for 2 days at a time. Worked great! Today I took it apart to replace the fans & the video Pecron provided helped a lot! The replacements fans you, almost, cannot hear! This one beats the competition for charge & out put options & support was very responsive & cared about their product & the customer!

DC charging port not operational.
The 32 V – 95 V DC charging port from the solar panels lights up but it never shows a charge. And how convenient, it did that about six months after I purchased it!Buyer beware!

With the Pecron 1500 we had power after tornado power outage.
Purchased the Pecron 1500 earlier this year. This summer, a tornado touched down in the area and we lost power for a couple of days. Plugged into the Pecron and we were able to use CPAP, Wi-Fi, TV and a few lights the first night. Easily took the Pecron to a friend that had power and quickly recharged for power again through the second night. Next, I’ll be adding solar panel. Great purchase!
