Yes, it is plastic. Yes, it looks exactly how you think it looks however, living in Florida and having attended many a theme park in the pouring rain I have had to wear many a poncho. They are hot and sticky and uncomfortable and you have to take them on and off over your head. I purchased this for myself and a girlfriend to wear over dresses at the Kentucky Derby. It was absolutely perfect. I wore it all day long as it rained consistently. I cannot believe how many compliments I received. I also like that it came in a pack of two.

This came in clutch for our Zoo trip. It was a torrential downpour but the rain jackets kept us dry. The length was perfect and the snaps were easy to snap. Only suggestion is that I wish they had one front pocket to hold our phones. Definitely 5/5 and the price was right!!!

They could be a little bit more generous in the seat. We had these for Graduation, which was held in the rain and they worked great but were a little bit tight across the leg for sitting for 4 hours. Otherwise they were great!

I love the convenience of these coats:-they are light and easily foldable-they are long enough to cover your body-unlike ponchos they have buttons in the front, which is an added convenience.In addition they keep you warm when it rains.I would definitely recommend them.

Much better than the cheap clear ones. Unfortunately, one came with a huge tear in the seam on the right shoulder. That's why only 3 stars. No time to replace it (for a concert tonight with rain expected), so I flipped it inside out and used good ol' duct tape to seal it. Hope it works.

These were a greta buy for me and my hubby. And they came in handy this weekend as we attended the MotoAmerica event in GA. They fit us both well. He’s slimmer and taller. I’m shorter and size 12/14. And they folded up easily. Lightweight as well. We’re planning to pack for an upcoming trip to Disney.

Bought for an Alaska trip. Looks like they’ll work.

These are exactly what I was looking for. My family normally wears disposable rain ponchos to theme parks, but last time we went I was wearing our infant in a carrier. This allowed me to wrap her up in the rain jacket while still keeping her head exposed. The quality is surprisingly better than I thought it would be and held up well throughout our entire trip. The hood looks a little silly as it is very pointed and doesn’t really stay tight. But, for the price, this certainly got the job done and I prefer it now to your standard rain poncho.
