I’ve been using the ECOFLOW RIVER 2 MAX for a few weeks now, and it has far exceeded my expectations. The 512Wh capacity is more than enough to keep my essential devices powered during fishing trips. What really stands out is the super-fast charging—going from 0 to 100% in just around an hour is game-changing.It’s lightweight, easy to carry, and the build quality feels solid. Don't like the 13 amp ac sockets. Very loose fit. All of the power units seem the same..

Dissatisfied
This unit is advertised at 512 watts with 1000 watts available with the X boost but I have had two units and both are only able to deliver a maximum of 275/290 watts total available output and customer service is next to useless.

VERY DISAPPOINTED!
After initially being enthusiastic about the claimed 1000w peak capacity of the unit, I bought a 500 watt fan heater for use with the power station in a campervan situation.The River 2 couldn't handle it and cut out within a few seconds, displaying a message saying "overloaded".So is it only ever going to be good for charging low wattage cellphones and laptops?Very disappointed and disillusioned about these overpriced boxes, and may have to return it as not fit for purpose.
