Caldwell Ballistic Precision Chrono with Bluetooth Premium Kit,Green

I spent the additional amount for this unit due to the Bluetooth Capability, viewing data on my Android phone. The light addition may be nice, but not really needed for my outdoor events, the Bluetooth is. I have researched online articles, YouTube videos for days now, to still not have any Bluetooth connection. I contacted support, no reply to date. While I hope this to be remedied by the manufacturer communications if any, would suggest buyers think twice over the higher price for a topic that is non operational. I have shared a friends standard model chronograph of this brand for many years now without complications, just thought I would get "Modern"-OOPs.After multiple communications I received an email from Brian @ Caldwell with all the information and expertise instructions for a Quick n Easy Fix. Bluetooth is connected and synched with the app on my Android phone.Thanks Brian @ Caldwell

Item came well packaged, but wouldn’t turn on. AA batteries checked with the volt meter and confirmed to have power. Unit dead on arrival…spend your money on something else.

I returned this chrono, because it was very difficult to set up. The reading were accurate as I compared it to a much more expensive unit. I found it to be very cumbersome to put together and set up. For those reasons I returned it. I gave it a 3 star due to it's accuracy.

For a cheap chronograph, its works as it should. Bluetooth worked well. App is pretty basic, but so is the chrono. After multiple uses it works as it should. Has not missed shots and errored like previous versions. Tripod it comes with is pretty weak and wobbly.

Inconsistent and disappointing. Based on the price, this should be a much better product. I’m surprised because this brand is known for its quality.Specifically, it throws countless errors. I can’t seem to get it to “just work.” Also, it drains batteries when left in the case, even when it’s powered off. Finally, the tripod that comes in this “kit” is flimsy and the chrono never sits very tightly.I want this to be an honest review, so I’ll praise the good qualities. When it works, it works great. It looks nice and the carrying bag holds the chrono and the tripod well. The overhead lights work well. However, because of the flaws, I regret buying this.

A great product and works well. Caldwell’s customer support is also very good. I would wholeheartedly recommend this and give it a 5 star rating! I upgraded to a G2 with Bluetooth, and it was battery and more convenient to use.

Unit would not even start up after assembling EXACTLY as instructed and installing brand new batteries.###%%*##*! . I really am tired of dealing with products sold online that aren't even tested to see if it even functions before being sold to customers.
