I he replacement ear pads are made from high-quality protein leather and memory foam, closely mimicking the original Bose ear pads. Last year I had bought the "official" Bose replacement pads for $35, since the headset was now 2 years old I thought I would give these a try at $9 - happy I did!

The finish was flaking off of my original ear pads, so I got these to keep my head clean. Easy to install and soft comfortable fit.

Original ear pads finally wore out after 6+ years use. These replacement ear pads are identical fit and quality - noticed definite improvement in sound quality and noise canceling due to restoring the padding to better seal around ears.Installation was simple and requires no tools. It took 5-10 minutes working with the pads to understand sequence/force to use to work around edge pressing them into place (as noted in other reviews). Just be patient and don’t force them.

I gave 4 stars, because you really have to struggle to push the ear foam into place. My husband had the chore of working with the replacement and after a few minutes of torture I came up with a solution of using a mini spatula that came with my wax machine for my hands. He used the handle part to help push the foam into place and it worked like a champ. Now I have a brand new Bose headset. Could not be happier and it did not break the bank. Many thanks for ear foam replacement vs. buying a whole new headset. :)

My husband is hard on his head phones and these replacement pads have made it easy to simply replace the pad instead of the head phones. Highly recommend.
