My favourite wall plug
These work well in plasterboard. If you are fussy like me then place a bit of clean card over the top of the plug before you knock it in the last millimetre so the hammer does not dirty the paintwork but the blue flange will move in flush into the surface. My 'go to' plug always use these.

Pretty bloody good
Bought these to replace some 6mm plugs that were not holding hooks in a hollow door. The 8mm gives it that extra purchase it needs, hammer flush then combine with as long screw as you can fit in the surface. This is a great step before moving to Cavity Wall Anchors. I also mounted a bedside floating shelf with 1 Cavity Wall Anchor and 4 of these 8mm plugs.Comes in a handy and compact blister pack, pair with good screws and you are sorted.
