Hi that’s a really good question. I brought the stool for my mum she has a wet room only. I’m thinking because the bath can be slippy with no difference in texture I personally wouldn’t like for an elderly person to use it in this way. Maybe a mat with some form of grip but again I don’t know if this would help. Also I’m not sure the bath would be wide enough to support the feet in contact with the bottom of the bath. Thinking safety first for whoever the stool is for. Personally I wouldn’t use in the bath. I hope this is helpful information.
