I see other customers claiming that the toggle locks were hard to work with. I slightly dismantled the lock removing the locking arm. This gives you an easy to work with pattern for drilling pilot holes. Once the pilot holes are drilled apply a screw to the outside hole of the toggle lock. The toggle lock is now in place and you can open it and easily drive the second screw. I did need to use the toggle lock that I dismantled so I put it back together and my project was complete.

This exactly what I ordered. But they are smaller than I thought.

It is smaller than I thought but they are perfect for the bag holders on the cornhole game.

Nice little latches for the price.

Maybe someone else has a workaround, but I found them too small to work with. I struggled to keep the spring open long enough to try to insert the screws. I was unsuccessful and chose to return them.
