Brilliant oil filter remover.
Had to remove oil filter on 2004 Harley Sportster which had been stood for long time, 10 ish years! I didn't want to buy Harley tool, how hard could it be. This was well and truly stuck, so much so that I took screwdriver and bashed it through with hammer to lever it off. Nothing moved, but chewed up metal. Frustrated I turned to internet, all manner of different sizes of tool, but then found this.OmG what an innovation, one of the best value things out there this is adjustable to different sizes and tightens its grip as you turn to remove. The filter was chrome and at first slipped a little, so I put some duct tape round, then it gripped. I put loads of pressure/ force against it, but to my relief it moved and I got the mangled filter off. I thought worse case it would have to go into a work shop. If you're in any doubt and are stuck, I promise this will sort you out and work. Well made and strong and can work of different sizes of filter.

Great product
This worked great had been struggling to remove my sons very tight oil filter . Warning mine was set to tighten not to undo . No instructions you have to rotate the mechanism on the top . So it’s undoing ..

Great for removing stubborn oil filters
I had a stuck oil filter that had rounded off at the bottom. My usual oil filter ‘socket’ was spinning before the filter would begin to turn. There wasn’t room to stab a screwdriver through, and anyway that’s a messy last resort method with a risk of damage. This tool was excellent and just the job. It’s spring loaded to allow use on multiple filter diameters. You select the direction of rotation and apply it to the filter. Connect an extension bar and a ratchet and you’re good to go. The harder you pull, the tighter it grips the filter. 2 minutes and my filter was removed. Great build quality. Highly recommended.

Mediocre and annoying
awkward but okay for the price, i would recommend saving up for a high quality cup socket set if you are seriously gonna be removing lots of filters, this does work though with some fiddling. NOT SLIP RESISTANT. Took many attempts.

Great tool
Wife has a Daihatsu Copen the oil filter was very difficult to get to. This tool was great as self tightening and small enough to get into a small space. Oil filter was removed in seconds. Great value for money
