I've tried a couple of other styles of sink protectors and didn't like them. The ones with suction cups are hard to keep clean, as are the ones with holes in them. This one is easy to clean. You just wipe it down with a sponge and you're good to go.

It worked very well for a long time. It was a larger size that went deeper into the sink. Eventually the bottom area would not come clean, became sort blackish - especially on the unexposed sides.The old item was discontinued, so this time I got the shorter version with the Bligli brand. This one has also been doing a great job.Because it is a couple of inches higher from the sink bottom, it has stayed much cleaner at its lower sides than my previous one. It is a little less stable with a heavy pan resting on it being scrubbed, but not a problem and is a worthwhile trade of for the added cleanliness.This item has been very effective is a nicely done product.

My old Rubbermaid sink saddle finally split in half and I bought this as a replacement. It is very tough, but it is also very thin and flexible and does not stay in place when you are in the habit of leaning or rubbing items against it. I think it might grip a little better on a stainless sink or a double kitchen sink with a somewhat wider divider but I'm using it in a metal-edged concrete utility sink and it "wanders around" and slips off the divider between tubs far too easily. It keeps items from getting scratched or marked up when I can keep it in position but something thicker and stiffer would be preferable.

I wasn’t impressed at first. The sides didn’t want to lay down against the walls at first. (They don’t have suction cups underneath, but I like that because the usual little suction cups don’t work & they need cleaning all the time.) Now it does a great job of protecting my sink when I’m washing my big cast iron pans. Be sure to measure your sink—the size I got is a perfect fit. I was concerned that others said the material was flimsy, but it’s working fine for me.
