Caravan Water Mains Adaptor Float Valve

This is a great little bit of kit ! It arrived on time, with clear instructions and was fitted in no time ( after I sorted out my hose attachments ) I now know my aquaroll won't run dry and more forgetting I've left it filling ! I am in my touring van a lot at present so it has been a real game changer , especially in bad weather.Simple but effective and such a good price. Highly recommended if you have the chance of a serviced pitch !

Use with good quality hose connection.Works well.Minor issue of stored water in tank for several days. Needs cleaning pipes regularly.

Good quality product. This is an easy way to have continuous water supply, to a Caravan or Motor Home. Quick connect the hose, turn on the tap, this unit will automatically stop water flow, once the container is full.

It works well but only refills half the water roller. Take care to ensure it is fitted properly so that the float operates correctly. I marked it with a line to show the ops of the float

Bought this to replace an alternative "upturned cup shaped" float valve assembly used in my aquaroll. This is easier to use as its not so sensitive to being absolutely vertical when screwed in and fitted through the barrel cut out more easily without having to manoeuvre the cup and valve into the barrel thus saving time and frustration. Seconds count nowadays. Package arrived on time, was protective and included assembly instructions. These were not needed by me as it all seemed obvious as to how it assembled but probably good for those nubees with no plumbing experience. If I was to be really picky I put a spacer (a plastic nut) on the threaded assembly between the sealing washer and valve to increase the distance of the valve outlet from the valve cap and thus reduce the possibility of reduced flow from outlet to barrel when screwed in without as the distance involved looked tight to me. I also went for overkill by using a smear of silicon grease between the rubber washer and barrel cap. After assembly checked under mains pressure with the garden hose. Not one drop of water leaked out - well chuffed. Recommended purchase. I never thought a review of this valve could be so verbose!

We had to move into caravan for showering, as hot water tank in house broke.. lucky we have a caravan outside

Caravanning is so much easier without having to fill a water barrel and haul it to your pitch.This mains adaptor works perfectly and is easy to fit and use.
