Beautiful clock. Takes a bit of effort to calibrate the time by adjusting the pendulum, but that is just part of the setup process.Very easy to put together and wall mount.Noticeable 'ticking sound' so could be annoying if you are VERY noise sensitive. Chimes on the hour.Re-wind by re-setting the weight every few days.Would make lovely gift for someone with a traditional style home.

Hi I did think I was going to receive a clock of parts but still I was happy with the clock as it was until set it going I could not get to keep time and I found the thread on the pendulum was too small for the nut so each time I screwed it up the bob slipped down I found a nut to fit the thread and it has made an improvement to the time keeping, so I am now pleased

The unusual little clock arrived beautifully wrapped,after reading pre-order reviews I expected setting and keeping it to the precise time a challenge,Maybe I'm lucky ( up on the wall,pull the chain,swing the pendulum and off she went,I don't think its lost a second in a month)

Ich finde die Uhr ist der Hammer, optisch und auch sonst. Ein Freund meinte nur, wenn man auf sowas steht - ähm die Uhr ist einfach nur klassisch. Sie muss aufgezogen werden, wie oft, das muss ich noch sehen, werde jeden Morgen erstmal die Schnur ziehen um zu sehen, wie viel sich das Gewicht im Laufe des Tages nach unten bewegt. Ich will auf keinen Fall, dass sie stehe bleibt. Das Ticken ist schon laut, allerdings sollte das im Wohnzimmer nichts ausmachen. Ins Schlafzimmer würde ich sie nicht hängen, es sei denn jemand ist total unempfindlich gegenüber lauten Geräuschen. Jede volle Stunde schlägt die Uhr einmal mit einem lauten Pling - ich bin froh, dass sie jeweils nur einmal schläft, egal wie spät es ist.Ich bin sehr glücklich mit dieser Uhr und habe sicher noch lange Freude dran.

Amazing quality, real conversation piece. It is a little hard to see the hands therefore the time in low light. The tick tock sound is loud but I find it soothing
