A very fun piece
first off - no, it does not come with dye. you can't really ship that. just go to the store and spend three dollars on food coloring.the main complaints about this lighter seem to come from people unfamiliar with wick lighters. no, the fluid does not "leak," it evaporates. there's no airtight seal so yeah, the fluid's gonna go away. but, full disclosure: I did tighten down all the screws before using it. speaking of which, the video implies it's a kit, which it most definitely is not.now, P&C'S.Pros:-it's a hell of a lot of fun. striking it feels like kickstarting a motorcycle. if you can get the pressure right it uncaps and lights in one fluid motion.-its design makes it very easy to adjust things like wick length, flint tension, etc.-obviously very easy to see the fluid level.Cons:-it's surprisingly heavy. some might attribute that to build quality, but it's still heavy.-although they give you two replacements, the flints suck.-the setup "tool" is absolute garbage.-the first time I filled it it tried to explode into a fireball. I've had the same problem with Zippos, though, so not a huge deal.-goes through fluid quickly.-flame smells like lighter fluid. but, again, this is to be expected.overall, I think this is a lot of fun and would make a great gift, or just a neat piece for your collection.

WARNING DO NOT ORDER !!!
I was excited to get this novelty lighter. It showed up without the colored oil from the video and no instructions on where to get it or exactly what it is. So I tried what I thought it was. Which is thin kerosene based on the description and title of several of these listings. After filling it and then trying to light it worked but I noticed that if the lighter is tilted there is some leakage at the top. So I wiped it off and the gold color started coming off! Well it's heavy metal construction right? Well I later tried to light it again and the outside of the light lit up and I was holding a fire ball. Not panicked I quickly got it put out, I use a Zippo so I've seen that before but my Zippo doesn't leak like this thing does!

How it works
The fluid seems to evaporate fairly fast.

Cheap for a reason
The lighter looks great, easy to fill, and worked well for about a month. The lever to ignite it is bent, the mounting pin is loose and the flint removal screw removed the entire flint tube. Like I said, looks great and now that's all I do is look at it. Doesn't last, cheaply made, save your money!
