Great upgrade for the JK.
After purchasing a set of Uni Shine J004 LED Headlights, and being absolutely disappointed, I was a bit gun shy about buying another set of lights for the Wrangler, but since I only had one side working, I needed to replace the headlights again. I talked to a buddy and he told me to check out the KC Hilites. After a short but extensive research, I purchased these, and replaced the halogen bulbs with a H4 LED Bulb with a 12,000 Lumen output, that was shape matched to fit exactly like a halogen H4. I could not be happier. Best light output I have ever seen. Tuning the direction of the beam was simple. Light dispersement is very even with good peripheral coverage, and a super bright focal point. Even with the halogens in, it looks great, but with the LEDs in, just glows. I highly recommend these to anyone looking to upgrade their factory headlights.

Nice lights for the price, one had aa light cscratch on lense
Needed to replace my stock original OEM lights on a 2008 JKU and couldn't justify the cost of high dollar LEDs. After much searching and despite not the highest reviews here I ended up getting the set which I'm very glad I did. The only negative is the one lamp out of two has a slight scratch on the upper portion of the lens very disappointing as they seem like they were packaged ok it's clear that it happened prior to the film being placed over the lens for shipping. I know headlights will get scratched up overtime but I just would have rather like to see it not scratch before its first use.After adjusting it the beam pattern is quite nice compared to the OEM stock lamps much better and will be a fine upgrade for anyone with OEM headlamps. They even included a packet of dielectric grease which I used sparingly on the connectors which normally I do not and even my OEM connections did not have any corrosion but has decided to anyway since it was included.

Better than Ebay LED's
I bought a 2013 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon last year and previous owner had installed some Ebay special 7" LED lights that gave no light on the road. Bright looking at them but beam pattern and lux output was horrendous. Honestly think the factory H13 halogens would have been brither. So in my quest for better lighting that isn't a $700 set of JL Speaker I found these. I also ordered a set of GE Nighthawk 9003/H4 bulbs as I've used these bulbs before and love them in everything I put them in as they are bright and last a respectable amount of time.Build quality is good and love the look they gave my Jeep. I live in Anchorage, AK and it's still not getting dark enough yet to see how they do but just from having them on in the garage to somewhat re-aim the headlights they definitely appear brighter on wall and 100% better beam pattern. Will update once darkness sets in. If I remember

Not as great as reviews say.
I have a 2012 Wrangler and they are not known for having great headlights. I extensively researched these and I'd guess 95% of reviews are very favorable. So I ordered them. These are not brighter than my stock. Both are 55/60w but these use H4's. They are about the same brightness as my fog lights and you can't see farther than two car lengths ahead even after constant adjustment. They also have to lit up little spots that hit the road about four car lengths ahead and are worthless. I didn't expect these to be awesome, but I did expect them to out perform the stock and they don't. Maybe I got a bad set, but they are in my opinion a safety hazard on a dark country road. The high beams are better than stock but not the low beams. Like I said, maybe I got some bad ones but I can not recommend these in good faith based on my experience. The get one star because amazons is taking them back. Otherwise they would get no stars.

I expected better
After 8 months one of the headlights flashes on and off without warning. Not sure weather it's the included h13 to h4 conversion cable or the headlight itself??? Got me a big fat ticket for it however by my local police force. The rubber boot on the same light split open as well. I expected a HELLUVA lot more from the KC brand that's for damn sure. Gonna throw these right in the garbage and move to cheap Chinese LEDs. Thanks KC for ruining a great brand name.

Good purchase
In March I bought LED headlights a few months later the right light was very dim. Replacement or warranty was a circus. I went back old school Halogen. The KC lights are much better than stock and in my opinion better than the LED. The KC has a nice spread on the light pattern and reaches out great. The LED put most of the light in one spot and the hi beam was lacking. The hi Beam on the KC lights is awesome. Wished I had bought these to begin with.

Original equipment look. Read the update{s}
Nice headlights, I got these because they look like the original ones that came with my Jeep JK. The beam pattern is a little different, but after adjusting them they are fine.Update about 7 months later : Noticed that one was fogged up, opened it up and found about 1/2 teaspoon of water in it. I emailed the manufacturer, hope they reply. I did not contact the seller of this on Amazon, it's not their problem. The company I bought them from on Amazon did their job and delivered my original order on time.Another update, the manufacturer did reply and replaced the one leaking light, now 19 months after I originally purchased and installed, the other light is leaking, it's actually got dirty water in it, a few ounces. It's past warranty so I doubt they will do anything. I'll end up replacing both of them with a different type or brand, I don't want led headlights, so I hope I can find something more leak resistant. These really look good but they should last much longer. I got replacement lights and pulled these out, the rubber seal on the back at the plug is rotted and has holes.Another update : I purchased these in November of 2019, I ended up putting stock headlights back in, but I recently contacted KC about the rubber seals splitting and causing the leaks. KC sent me a pair of replacement seals after I owned these lights for 26 months. So that's great warranty service. I might put them back in.
