Great options, build quality and price

I was pretty shocked when I opened the box I thought it was gonna be small! It was not to my surprise, It's a heavy duty shifter and the knob feels pretty good my only complaint is that the bottom piece is extremely cheap compared to the rest of the shifter which is a shame it easily comes off and you can easily lose the round piece that attaches to your desk.

If you're looking for a cheap entry into sim racing this is probably your best bet. I bought the logitech shifter and instantly returned it. This has much better build quality. On sale would be even better. Do recommend changing out the shifter knob. It's usable.. but you could do better.

The Hori replaces my Logitech shifter. I wanted a shifter that easily converted from H to sequintial. Hard to find at this price. Even the tension is adjustable. Feels great coming from the Logi. Windows 11 recognized it instantly. I thought it might be too wide for my setup. But it was about the same as Logitech. 6 inches wide. I also like the design that makes it look like a console between the seats of a sports car. With the shifter nob lower. I bought a new real nob. But I haven't installed it. The one that comes with, while being generic in appearance works fine and feels good. It should last as it uses haul censors not micro switches. Thanks Hori. Now how about a direct drive wheel added to you lineup?

If you sim race on a rig, this may not be for you. This shifter is made for light use. Don't go banging through the gears thinking it gonna last long. Do understand this is plastic with a bit of aluminum. It will get the job done. It is good quality i just forgot it was plastic because it did such a good job for me. got it back in June 2024 died December 2024. 5 months!!

Just got this shifter today. Using on PC and no need to download drivers etc. Just plug is USB cable and setup on your game of choice.Really like the feel of the shifter and the fact you can make it stiffer or softer in the shifting between gears. Even though its a 7 speed, it is setup in a way you don't miss 5th which was a big concern and problem with other shifters I have tried.I am impressed with the shifter, we will see long term how it does. Btw made in Japan so thats a plus.

Works as it should on pc.like that it can be switched from H pattern to sq with a flip of a switch.affordable and better than Logitech shifter.
