Unbeatable Mousetrap - Caught 30+ Mice in 2 Weeks!
After struggling with ineffective electronic and traditional snap traps, I decided to try the Dizzy Dunker, and it just works.Pros:- Extremely effective - caught 30-40 mice in just two weeks- Easy to set up - simply attach to a bucket- No escapes - mice fall into the bucket every time- Reusable - no need to constantly reset or replaceWhen I would try the other traps, the mice would often steal the bait without getting caught. The Dizzy Dunker works flawlessly every time. I do notice that the wheel doesn’t spin as freely after a bit of time after dirt and dust builds up. I just spray a little silicone grease at each end of the wheel and it spins super freely after that.Where I live, the mice are terrible from about August to October. I have four of these set up in various parts of the house and garage. My morning routine is to empty out anywhere from one to 4 mice per bucket. It seems a little pricey, given that I have to supply the bucket, but I just want the mice gone so i's well worth the investment.I should note that I did try building my own bucket trap, using a wire coat hanger and coat can. The coat can spins freely on the wire hanger so when the mice run out, they fall off pretty quickly. The problem is the mice can sometimes jump back onto the coat hanger, or to the side of the bucket. Because the spinning wheel is enclosed in a plastic dome structure, when they try to jump to the side, they just fall in. I verified this with video cameras. In summary: Five stars for an incredibly effective, easy-to-use mousetrap that consistently outperforms traditional methods. Highly recommended!

Not the best mouse trap ever made
Despite Wood's claim, this mouse trap is not the best one ever made. Far from it. Simple to put together, but it'll fly apart unless you carefully push tabs in. Concept seems solid, but so far, mice around my neighborhood seem to prefer other traps and I have yet to catch ONE in the four traps I bought. In addition, you cannot see inside the bucket and there's no way for me to tell whether I've caught a mouse except to pick up the bucket, turn it almost sideways, and look through a crack to see if I've caught anything. I could also shake the bucket and see if anything bounces around, but what the hay?!I suppose that if you have a hundred mice in a barn, loaded with bait, and no other trap around, sure, it can catch them, but it's a crap shoot if you have only a few around or in your house.I like bucket traps, and I previously bought the "walk the plank" trap, which I really do like, and I've had good success with it. But, with cold weather coming, the water freezes in the winter time, so that makes it useless. I could put antifreeze in the water, but I've got dogs, so not going there.Expensive for what it does, plus you'll need to supply the bucket (no problem for me), but just not very efficient unless you have a ton to get rid of. I am going back to my tried and proven traps. I like Woods and his YouTube channel, but this trap needs a lot of work. There are any number of simpler, less expensive, and smaller traps that will do the job quicker and cheaper.Just look at the ratings so far, especially the number of 1-star ratings, which are on the high side for a mouse trap. I REALLY wanted this thing to work well, but it just does not for the me, the average homeowner with an average occasional to frequent mouse problem.

Round the clock mouse catcher.
I really like this trap, I saw the video demo and purchased 1 trap so I can test it before I buy more. The 1st 36 hours I caught 8 mice in my garage with my 1 (first) Dizzy Dunker.I live in a rural area. There are lots of mice here.A few days later, I set up a second Dizzy Dunker near my chicken coop and caught 24 mice in a 30 hour period.Things to know....1. The ladder that is provided is not enough. You should stack scrap ends of 2x4 lumber or little cardboard boxes or something that will give solid footing to the trap entrance. Make sure there are steps from one piece to the next no taller than 2 inches tall from each other. (mice can climb taller than this but letting them get to the top quickly is the goal here)2. I smeared Almond Butter on the inside spindle of the where the blade intersect, this will let the mice see/smell the bait and they will venture onto the blade to get it. Mice love peanut butter, normal butter, ect... (never have tested margarine). BTY- why do so many people use cheese as an all purpose/go to bait? How many wild field mice or deer mice have ever eaten cheese? Very few. They are scavengers and will eat many different things. Normal table butter will melt and run easier than peanut butter if the temperature is too warm so I use the thicker peanut butter often. Peanut butter does not require refrigeration so you can leave a jar of it near your traps.3. I dont want to say anything that may scare/offend some of the more sensitive types, but the mice that I captured had a nice little mineral (salt) water swim before they made their final spiritual journey. The salt keeps the water in a liquid state too.Summary....This trap has a great design, very easy to use, and it will work for a long time before any maintenance is necessary. You must be careful with the little tabs! What I most enjoy about this trap is that it catches multiple mice without having to be reset.Near my chicken coops.... I dug a hole deep enough to keep the top 2 inches of the trap within easy reach of any passerby in search of a delicious treat. Then I will placed cinder blocks around the trap with 2" wide space between the blocks then covering to top with sheet wood. This keeps my dogs from knocking it over.Cheers!
