The quality of the overall lamp is great for the price. However, the shade is not great. I would plan on having to buy a new shade for this lamp. That being said, it’s still a great value and I would recommend the gold color is very nice and it’s very sturdy even with a toddler trying to knock it over.

I like that this lamp is minimal and adds a touch of light to our living room so we don’t have to use the harsh overhead light in our apartment. Not too difficult to assemble. Mine was missing the 2 “connector” pieces that connect the metal ring in the lamp shade though. The only way to resolve the missing pieces was to box everything up and ship it back to the sender which is too much of a hassle, so I just taped the metal together hoping that will do the trick. You would think they could just ship you missing pieces. Otherwise I could just replace the lamp shade if the tape doesn’t hold up. The metal rings and clip-in sections do show through the lamp shade on the top and bottom rim though which I don’t particularly like. I would give it a 7/10.

The lamp itself is pretty sturdy and nice colored and quality. However, the lampshade is very cheap and looks purple?! going to definitely need to buy a new lampshade. It is very ugly and cheap.

Don't make the same mistake I did; read some of these reviews.This lampshade sucks. I actually bought this lamp because I LIKED the lamp shade. For starters, it's white, not linen colored like the pictures. Secondly, you have to put the lamp shade together yourself. It comes in a rolled up fabric piece.You're supposed to clip the metal interior bands together for the lampshade with some connector piece. It's not included. It's supposed to be. Looks like a couple other reviewers have had the same problem. You cannot put together the lampshade without this piece. It will not hold together. You could probably duct tape together the metal bands so you can have it up and running as soon as it's unboxed, but why pay $50 for that.The base itself is actually pretty nice, just unfortunate that the lampshade is so bad.Also, bulb is NOT included!! I know some lamps come with it; this one does not.

Except for the shade, which took me some time to figure out, it was pretty easy to put together. The size is perfect alongside my recliner. Very sturdy.

*UPDATE- seller refunded $.First, the packaging. While it remained intact for delivery, it was the absolute worst to unbox. Most importantly, the shade arrives rolled up. You are instructed to Velcro it together and snap the top and bottom rims on. This is honestly the most absurd shade ever. The base is heavy and seemed like it might actually be a sturdy lamp while assembling, however one piece (rods)does not completely screw in and it does tilt to the side if the lamp is touched. This is the entire reason I ordered a new floor lamp. The top knob to hold the shade in place does not screw on, it only sits on top. Unfortunately the box and styrofoam were destroyed while opening so there’s no way I can return it. It is pretty to look at but not worth the money at all. Keep looking and don’t get stuck with this lamp like we did.

The lamp pole is good, and very sturdy. The shade is disappointing - it was difficult to get the pieces to fit, and has a "dent" in the side because of the poor fitting.

Love the base of this lamp. It looks simple and elegant. Like other reviews stated, the shade is very thin, so I ended up purchasing a different shade. This lamp is still worth it in my opinion as the overall price is very reasonable.
