Two of these containers fit in a Ultimate Yogurt yogurt maker. It allows one to make single large volumes of yogurt, rather than lots of little jars. They are durable (as long as you don't drop them) and easy to clean. I find they hold a little less than a quart. I have milk left over from a 2 qt container when I make two of these containers worth

Love these containers. They are very good for yogurt making, fit great in my yogurt maker. I also use them for other food storage and also taking lunch to work.

The media could not be loaded. Great Quality and perfect for making the yogurt. the glass is a little bit thinner and the lids a little bit as well when compared to the 'pyrex' dishes you might be used to, but they work perfectly for making Yogurt. I much prefer them to the 8 little jars that came with my Yogurt maker!

I love this size, because it's easier to portion into 2 larger bowls than the smaller containers. I have had excellent results!! However, I DO run all cuture utensils and containers through the dishwasher before use, AND preheat the half and half to steaming, and then cool the saucepan in an ice bath to tepid Temps before adding inluin and culture. Fabulous results thus far w ultimate yogurt maker set to 98 degrees F and preheat before culturing L reuteri 36 hours.

The best purchase my wife ever made to create kefir which we add to our smoothies. Great containers very convenient and sturdy.

Handy for storing not only yogurt but any food w/o plastic contamination

1st the Yogurt Maker is great! These quart size glass containers are also great. It's the lids. I've contacted customer service twice as I'm getting about 2 months out of them. I was amazed at how sweet they were to send a replacement the 1st time I complained. The second time, not so much.I wasn't even that upset as they had been so helpful the 1s time. I've had 2 people now tell me they were going to replace the lids the second time but never did. I even told the 2nd person that the 1st one never did anything and I "get it" if this has just been a fail for them and they're looking for a better source. I'd even buy lids from the new source. As it is the lids haven't held up for me. I'll buy 3 party lids going forward and still be happy with the yogurt maker.No need to add pictures as my fails are like some of the other images. Starts with a "tear" dead center in the lid and then that spreads.It's now 3/10/25 and I'm updating this review. I was sent 2 new lids under warranty though it was slow to deliver. That said they still need to get a better source. The problem is these quart containers are the biggest containers to use when making yogurt which is one of the main reasons to buy the Ultimate Probiotic Yogurt Maker. The other ones on the market don't make that much at one go. The yogurt has been really helpful in my healing journey.
