If the 2 cups are padded, than is it a regular push up bra or is it a super push up bra? By this, I mean is the padding super thick or regular thick?.

I would say it's super thick, and I'm returning this bra. I've had flotation devices with less padding! And the padding is not removable.

It is smooth and soft. I, too, hate itchy, stiff, bothersome clothing, including tags. These bras are very comfortable.

does it add a cup size?

It did for me. I, actually, love this bra. I'm kinda small on the top and this adds nice fulness and shape.
