The panels are great for the money and they give you a lot of screws. Only problem is the screws arem6 size.Most racks use 10-32 thread screws.But for the price it's a great deal.

A few extra “U”s of space in your equipment rack is usually regarded as a good thing--it means you’ve got room for some additional electronics to address future expansion. But unfilled gaps in the stack are not without disadvantage. Unoccupied slots in the rack can negatively impact the desired flow-path of cooling air, they represent openings in which curious fingers can be inserted (a real bad idea if that rack contains vintage transmitting equipment) and even in the case of a comparatively benign server or network rack, open spaces just look sloppy. Blank rack plates can be deployed to address these concerns.This 1U blank rack plate by RackPath is an example. This standard 19-inch width plate is promoted by the seller for use in a “Server Rack Enclosure or Network Cabinet” This product is a 10-pack, meaning you receive quantity 10 pieces of 1-U plate. The manufacturer states these are “EIA/ECA-310 compatible.”The plates are a comparatively thin, black-painted, steel. These do not have the robust structural strength of the aluminum slab plates that I prefer, but as simple covers, they’re adequate. The long edges of the plates are folded to create two “ribs” that stiffen the plate to discourage the wobble that would be apparent in a thin plate with no such ribbing.The product comes with metric (M6) mounting hardware, screws, washers, and clips. These are no use in a standard rack with 10-32 fasteners, but as #10 screws have a smaller diameter than M6 screws, there’s really no problem with deploying these to a classic rack if you supply your own mounting hardware.This particular version of cover plate is actually ventilated. The surface is punched with a dense, almost honeycomb-like pattern of round holes to effect a “grill”.

For the 80% that were received that can fit into the slots they need to go in, they are great! Each bracket is wrapped with their own hardware included. Note, this hardware does NOT fit the DIY rails that is sold on Amazon. Nice vents that provided the cooling needed for a hot server rack.
