Fractured my ankle and needed something to cover an air cast and this product was exactly as described.At first it was a little awkward to put on but then realized I could literally stretch it open over the ring and slide my foot in.

I am impressed with this waterproof cast cover. I have used it a few times and my splint has stayed dry during my showers. I ordered the extra wide size and it is pretty easy to get on and over my splint. It stays nice and secure until I remove it. I have noticed a few water drops drip onto the top of my splint as I try to remove the cast cover. Now I wipe the top of the cover off before I start to take it off. I was a bit concerned I might slip because of the material, but I haven’t had any issues. Of course, I have been extremely careful. The little hanger included makes it convenient to hang it up to dry. If you’re in a splint or cast, this is great. When the doctor told me I couldn’t get the splint wet and I would have to find a way to bathe without getting in the shower, I was very concerned. I am so glad I found this cast cover!

No one wants to have to purchase one of these. If you’re looking for one, it’s because you or someone you love has had some kind of lower leg injury… and now you or your loved one are feeling a bit desperate to shower because it may have been awhile. I can assure you that this is the cast cover you want. One week post-op from ankle tendon surgery and I was dreaming about a shower. This cover is so big my entire wrapped up foot (including the boot) fit inside. The whole at the top closed up tight enough that water stayed out and my bandages and boot stayed dry. Just get it.

This is easy to put on and pull off; keeps my boot dry in the shower; and has a loop that makes it easy to hang up to dry.

The only problem was getting my boot which was from toe surgery in the bag but my husband was able to get the boot in. We had to get the liner in which my husband did. However my boot was kept dry.
