I'm only on chapter 3 but it is putting the pieces together for me as to why I am so scared of being in social situations. I haven t gone over it with my therapist yet, but so far this seems like it is something I could do on my own.

Helpful for tackling social anxiety
I am a therapist and use this book with some of my clients. It is helpful in step by step commitment to change, practice, and exposure to anxiety producing social situations and uses CBT interventions. My only complaint is the intense sales-pitch for CBT therapy and dismissing other therapeutic techniques is a little off-putting for those of us who use CBT plus dynamic and other interventions. People's issues can be complex and have many causes and current life situations and personality factors which contribute to them, so CBT only is not always the 100% solution.

I liked everything, good size print, good content, I'm using it to work with others. Has exercises, etc. Very informative.

Awesome work book
This book went along with the other two that I had reviewed. I am a very shy person with social anxiety. This hands on book is a great tool to help me deal with my issues and teach me more about them. There are a lot of exercises that go along with the reading. I really love the goal setting area in chapter 4. The chapter is all about change. I really love this work book! I did receive this free in exchange for my honest review.

Insightful book
I didn't feel like any of the information in there was new, I could have looked this all up online. But for those who are lost and looking for a book, this is a good start. More focuses on why u act the way you do instead of giving you solutions.

amazing
it has great information, tips, and suggestions for those like myself who struggle with social anxiety. there are worksheets that are easy to work with which have helped me with my social anxiety. this book is life changing if you are willing to work with it and follow the suggestions it makes. this book helps understand where the social anxiety develops from and has great ways to fight it. i highly recommend this book for anyone struggling with social anxiety on any level.
