Q: Hello, can you tell me what the fertiliser numbers are in the mixture ( like 6-9-6 )? Thank you.

These numbers are the fertiliser declaration which refers to the nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium available to your lawn whilst it is growing. Nitrogen makes it green, phosphorus helps to thicken the roots and potassium helps to strengthen the grass against wear and tear from children and dogs playing on it.

On the basis that 1 litre is 1,000 cubic centimetres and some hand-made measurements I reckon my 14kg bag of SafeLawn occupies a volume of approximately 15.5 litres - so I would say the answer to your question is 15 to 16 litres to allow for my rough-and-ready measurements. Hope this helps.

Q: When can I use this product? will November be okay?

It suggests using between February and September. I’ve only used end of September on germinated grass getting decent result by spring. I’d say ok to use in November for UK as temps are mild enough and should help root growth over winter.
