Sisal Rope 40m x 6mm Perfect for Cat Scratcher Post Replacement Rope - Toy included

Having bought cheaper sisal that didn't last long at all I'm glad to report this is the quality I expect. I re covered my cat's scratching post and it's done a tall one (90cm) with some to spare.

Used it to cover a drainpipe to use as long cat scratcher, did the job good quality product, and affordable, I'm yet to see how well it goes down with being used. The quality of sisal is I would say as good as a shop bought cat scratcher and seems thicker quality.

I would not buy this product again because of the time it took to fit. If you are considering replacing a well worn cat tree post like I did, save yourself a LOT of frustration and back ache! and buy a complete replacement post - which is what I will do in future. The material is great and does it's job but I should think that the posts when new are made on a machine? when you do it yourself you get a lot of twist as you go round and round the post, plus it tends to uncoil on the post as you do it - I got round that by putting pieces of double sided tape vertically up the post so when you stop 'wrapping' with the sisal the part you have done stays stuck. This 131ft roll didn't go as far as I thought and did just the one 14cm wide by 50cm post. but it looks good when done.

Ideal for renewing my cats scratch pole

Pleased with my choice of rope for cat scratching post. The rope covered a 90cm and 45cm cat scratching post and still some rope left. Would buy again.

This sisal rope is thicker than the one on the cats scratch pole, which I needed to re cover, so hopefully it will last longer than the original one, the post is 23inch long and there is a lot left after covering it

Nearly 4 meters of sisal rope, middle thickness but much better quality than the one came with our cat tree originally. Can’t recommend highly enough.
