AI and tracking is perfect. Easy to setup.
This is a great system compared to my 2 older units. Having the AI helps when looking for specific events. The accuracy is amazing and almost never picks up animals or bugs in the events log. Took a lot of getting used to since the operating system is totally different than the older units. Setup and functionality is better, just a different layout to navigate. We will definitely move to this unit for all future installs.

Not Plug-and-Play as Advertised
I purchased two of the Hikvision NVRs, and neither performed as advertisedby the seller. The product is supposed to be Plug-and-Play, but I will assure you that it is not. Along with the NVR, I purchased the Anpviz cameras. The NVR went offline and the cameras all locked. When i contacted the sellers of both Hikvision and Anpviz, I was given every excuse to avoid their admitting to false advertising. It was suggested that I remove and reset each camera. Trust that once the camera is reintroduced to the NVR, it reverts back to the original fault. On the return, it is advertised that a returnfor refund or replacement is available within 30 days; however, the seller of Hikvision, unilaterally, changed the policy, but didn't specify what. I managed to get a return authorization from Amazon. The Seller failed to update the item being in transit or that it had received the return.I have used Hikvision for 18 years. It's my opinion that the seller has installed something onto their NVRs. I suspect that it's Spyware based on the fact that it locks once introduced to scanning software.
