Great toy for garbage/ recycling truck loving toddlers
Bought this for my 2 year old for Christmas. 6 months later and he still likes to play with it. I like how the design allows for the little red can and big dumpsters to mechanically lift up and empty into the truck. It even comes with little things to recycle. Great value and durability. The sound quality is clear and not too loud.

Such a good toy!
I rarely write reviews, but this toy is worth it. This garbage truck is the best. There are enough buttons without being too much, it does what my toddler wants it to do, and it's hardy.I risked giving this to my 2 year old a few months ago, even though he's still pretty rough with toys. He literally plays with it every day, often for hours at a time while he narrates everything his truck is doing. Everything still works very well, but the trash can is tricky for him to click in on his own. It's not difficult to do, he's just a bit young for it still. The noises were annoying to hear over and over again, but some duck tape over the speakers brought down the volume, which made it the perfect toy for us. You can still hear them saying "ALL CLEAR" every time he pushes a button, but it's not nearly as invasive. He loves how the lid flips closed on the trash can when he lowers it and we've figured out how to make the dumpster dump everything in the back without spilling all over, which was a fun experiment. My son loves all the fake garbage, how easy it is to dump everything out of the back, and the motorized parts of the truck. If this breaks anytime soon, we'll be buying this exact one as a replacement.

Best Toy for Future Trash Collectors!
I bought the Large Friction Powered 19" Maxx Action Garbage Truck Toy for my 4-year-old, and let me tell you, it's now his full-time job! This truck has become his "office," and he's been collecting trash around the house like a seasoned pro. The friction-powered wheels mean no batteries are needed—just pure muscle power. (And by muscle power, I mean me pushing it around the house when he's "busy" with his imaginary garbage crew.)The lights and sound effects are a huge hit. Every time it "beeps," my son yells, "Time to pick up the trash!" I half expect him to start charging for garbage collection services in the neighborhood. The set includes a dumpster, trash bin, and miniature trash pieces—perfect for teaching my son that no trash is too small to be collected. On top of that, it's built like a tank—this thing could survive a toddler tantrum or a dog running through it at full speed. Seriously, if your kid has ever wanted to be a garbage truck driver (and who hasn't?), this is the toy for them. I’m just waiting for the day he starts asking for a real garbage truck for his birthday.Highly recommend for anyone with a little trash collector in the making! 🗑️🚛

The perfect trash truck
The media could not be loaded. Grandson just turned two and can operate the truck flawlessly. Great learning experience and value for the money. Drives great and very functional.

My son LOVES it, but with a minor flaw
This was a huge hit as a Christmas gift for my toddler son. He loves all things vehicles, especially construction and service vehicles, so his eyes lit up when he realized he had his very own garbage truck! The things that stick out most to me are:Pros:Large size. It's not one of those that looks huge in the picture, but in real life, fits in the palm of your hand. This one is a nice large sizeIt comes with so many accessories -- recycling bin, dumpster, plastic garbage like a broken skateboard, fish skeleton, etc.It has some fun, interactive features like the ability to lift and dump the dumpster, Recyling bin, etc., and the back can manually be lifted up and dumped too after the garbage hauling is all through. It's also pretty well built and should hold up for a quite some time.Cons:Not a lot honestly, but it's very tricky to get the orange recycling bin attached to the side, and sometimes when you do get it attached, it will still come disconnected while raising it and fall off, spilling its contents. My son is too young to get this figured out anyway, and loves it for the mere fact that it's a garbage truck, but just something to note. I'm not sure if I just got a lemon when it comes to the attachment, or if it's a general flaw. It doesn't impact the play-ability of this toy too much, but might be something that annoys him when he's old enough to have better hand/eye coordination with the controls. Also, it's pretty loud and I wish there was a volume button. Because it's pretty loud, we are selective when we bring this one out. We let my son choose one toy to bring to bed and quietly play with each night, and he keeps asking to bring his "Gar-buch truck" to bed, but it's too loud to be a "play quietly with" kind of toy. Finally, the garbage it comes with is a lot of fun, but let's be honest, will quickly become actual garbage. A bunch of little plastic garbage-y things will be strewn about and stepped on and tossed out. The nice thing about pretend garbage, however, is that it's very easy to replenish garbage by using your own scraps of paper, small toys, etc., to play with this thing. I don't feel the play garbage it comes with enhances or detracts from the toy. It's fun that it comes with it, but even being a really organized, type-A mom, we've already lost most of it and I've tossed a couple pieces forgetting what they were during cleanup time. Using random bits like Legos and scrap paper seems just as enjoyable for my kiddo. All in all, however, there are way more pros than cons, and this was one of my son's favorite Christmas toys, second only to his dancing disco dino bubble machine. I highly recommend this one even for the garbage truck-ness alone. The bells and whistles are just a bonus, but ones that probably won't be fully enjoyed until your kiddo is at least 4 or 5+. The garbage truck on its own, however, is the perfect toy for your vehicle-loving toddler/ child.

Vehicle has lights, sounds and is easy to operate for a child toddler age or older
Our grandson has had lots of fun playing with this vehicle. It has nice movement, sound and lights. It's easy for a toddler to handle and would recommend.

Cool toy for 2 year old
Realistic and fun. My son’s favorite toy. Battery life has been phenomenal, got for Christmas and still works. The buttons on the side to raise the trash can up and down is so interactive and my two year old loves it. Wish it had a remote but overall a really cool toy
