Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition - Xbox One

Being a long term fan and having played all previous tomb raider games in the series on various platforms , i was eager and interested to see what the new reboot to the series had to offer, i wasn t disappointed to say the least. tombraider 2013 follows story of a much younger , inexperienced lara croft , before she became a fully fledged tombraiding legend. Her story starts on board a ship eager following in her farthers footsteps , her goal to attempt to find a long forgotten japanese kingdom , laras wish soon made a reality as they become shipwrecked on mysterious island this where her adventures begin. crystal dynamics in my opinion introduced alot of new aspects to the reboot , which i thought were fantastic , the story was engaging and set at just the right pacing , the graphics were suberb , very detailed and stunning locations of interest , i recommend anybody playing for the first time to take the time to look at level of detail that has been put into the game ,the gameplay was very smooth , i found use of the bow very satisfying throughout , there is a level of stealth in the game also which i enjoyed alot. introduction to upgrading system was also a nice touch , the player can upgrade any number of weapons and items to how they choose to play and what to max out .one my favourite aspects of the game was the level of exploration, certain areas have a multitude of things to find , for example ,gps caches , challenge quests , relics ,documents which have little back story with each , a nice touch i thought , the tombs in the game which the player has to locate are very well thought through , if some are a little small , my only critisism of game would have been maybe a few more tombs to explore , but all in all i liked the challenge they got me thinking and scratching head at some points. i would highly recommend anybody who has not played the reboot to have a look and give it a go , a very nice looking and highly fun game , well one crystal dynamics.
