More assembly required than I would have thought - and this is not a strength area for me. I was kind of pissed. So, I timed myself.Directions made sense. All parts present - including a really SOLID screw driver. Everything lined up. Overall - very simple. Total assembly time? 12 minutes! YAY!The materials are VERY high quality. And the unit looks great.I bought to be used as a recycling bin and it is replacing a wicker unit where the internal liner was tied on. The “lift out” liner with this unit is going to be AWESOME. No more leaning in and digging out recycling items and transferring them to a contractor bag (no judging me!) for the alley recycling bin.I am very happy with this purchase.

Love this bamboo hamper. I got it to replace one we got as a bridal shower gift 47 years ago. This one comes with a bag inside that fits into grooves near the top that comes out when you need to take the clothes to the laundry. I liked the idea of having a connected lid, that way if you place it into a room it looks like a piece of furniture. The slits in the front, back and sides allow the possible dirty clothes smell to escape. Costs a bit more, but it is worth it.I am so glad I got it.

Well packaged. Assembly was relatively straightforward. We are impressed with the smoothness of the wood finish. Some other options we considered seemed to have a rougher finish. It looks nice in our bedroom. The hamper is sturdy enough for me to sit on with no problems. It feels like it will last for decades. The lift out bag works well for us. We considered hampers that had two or three compartments but ultimately decided that we prefer to sort at wash time as we have done for years instead of sorting when putting clothes into the hamper.

My real rating is 4.75. All parts were present and we put it together in about one hour. It looks great. A couple of joints seem loose but otherwise the hamper seems very substantial. Ample capacity. The cloth insert is a good feature.

Needed sturdy hamper with lid due to cat who throws toys into my open hamper then dives after them and chaos follows... This is a sturdy hamper with lid. Sustainable bamboo. Assembly required ... very much assembly required! Pieces easy to ID. Comes with small Phillips; need a good flat head for 8 cam inserts! It's hard bamboo so very difficult to get screws all the way in so flat at surface and won't catch anything. Assembly includes being able to reach/crawl into the hamper to tighten last 2 cam inserts...My arms are too short & it's dark in there & I only had the supplied Phillips, no flat head. Had to rubber mallet bottom so in enough for the last side to line up with cams and wood peg. Used a headlamp to see. One cam was fine, other cam is still not fully locked. Two of us cannot get it to fully work; it is partially locked. If it was more reachable, maybe we could do better. Anyway, as is it fits in the space, cat OK sitting on top of it, and cat toys land on the lid, but are not lost in my laundry, so it works. Only took about 95 minutes ... For yours, have long arms, get a flat head, a ratchet Phillips would help, remember your headlamp. Hope you do better than us.

Well made and sturdy, makes a good upgrade for our laundry basket. Easy to put together.

This hamper is much more attractive than others that are available. The design was with fasteners that do not show. We put it together with brass colored regular wood screws, which seemed to work better. I love the look and the functionality of the hamper.

Looks great
