This is honestly a great patch panel and can be at a great price, even compared to more established brands.The panel is shielded with an over 12in ground wire, so if you can't ground/bond this, you are not doing it right. The panel also comes populated with 24 CAT6 shielded keystones. For our installation (IT/Communications) shielding due to RFI (from both equipment types) is critical.The provided keystones are non-indicating, however perform better with shielding than others. Removal and insertion of keystones had been excellent with no fitment issues across many different brands and types of keystones.If equally priced to competitive brands, this still has value above many others, and is only enhanced if you can obtain this for a lower price point. If you have doubts due to brand familiarity, rest assured the quality provided here out rates better known brands.This product and company (I've used a few other products from them) are quickly making them a go-to for patch panel and keystone plate needs.

I typically punch down my wiring to a normal patch panel. However, this customer already had finished wiring in place. In an attempt to organize the mess that was their server room I ordered this patch panel to go in a wall mount rack. It worked perfectly and each connection is wire tied in place so they can pull out. If you need this type of organization I highly recommend this panel.

I didn't pay attention to the mounting width, so I had to get creative to mount. Can't fault the device for that!The hardware is SOLID. The couplers are solidly seated, the rack ears thick and solid. Mounts without vibration. All metal construction, including the cable mounting flap. This unit includes a pre-connected grounding wire which might seem redundant given that this would be mounted to a metal rack, but... what if it's a non-standard rack? So that wire is appreciated. The included zip ties are a nice thought as well.The included couplers handled 10G ethernet just fine, and inserted plugs were firmly held. The couplers are easily swapped out with other standard format keystones too.Final notes: Well packed, arrived unscathed. When/if I need 10" wide mounts again, I'll definitely buy this exact model again.

This 12 port patch panel takes a slightly different approach from your normal punch down patch panels and includes 12 keystone-like shielded couplers. This allows you to use your existing pre-terminated cabling and organize them neatly with this patch panel. I am using this in the data closet of my home and it works great! Strain relief is built-in, but may be a tad bit sharp around the edges.My panel had a little scrape on the front where you label the port, so quality control is mostly there, just some minor cosmetic and tooling damage.I did not have any connection issues with my cat6 cabling. Everything clicked in on both sides without issue. Perhaps its the design of some connectors/strain reliefs vs. others.

Our new home had a patch panel installed by the original owner and it was a complete mess of cat 5 and coax. We installed these to organize and connect all the cat 5 cables and activate the ethernet ports throughout the house. Worked great and fit perfectly into the panel creating a much more organized space.

I could not get a single Ethernet plug to fit or stay plugged in. It will not lock in no matter how hard you push. Because of the metal shielding there is not sufficient room for the RJ-45 connectors to fit in. I removed the metal shielding from one location and the RJ-45 connector fit in and successfully lock in.I agree the panel connectors are slightly undersized because of the metal shielding.I agree with a previous reviewer that the patch panel is incorrectly manufactured. Unless you are prepared to remove all the metal shielding around each connector or unless you can find some "undersized RJ-45" connectors this patch panel will be a waste of money. - DO NOT BUY.

Does what it needs to, the RJ45 couplers are solid and patch cables click in nicely. Cleans up the cabling for my home network as intended.

Excellent connectors. Solid feel. Good tiedown rack behind the connectors. Came with appropriate mounting screws. Included ties for a neat installation. Happy customer.

It does what is intended for quite well but, needs some design improvements. Connecting a patch cable to the RJ-45 keystones jacks takes some force to insert as they are a bit too tight to insert easy. The removable cable support arm is too short. Had no issues with it so far and the 20 connections I have connected are working.

Honestly for the price I was expecting it to be quite cheaper quality. This is decent gauge steel if I was to guess maybe 16-18ga? Even the network ports seem like high quality. Includes zip ties and includes cage nuts for mounting it. Will buy again if I need a second one.
