Works perfectly for HyperHDR bias lighting
I bought this to pass through signals from my devices to an RPi to be captured and processed by HyperHDR (DIY Ambilight) so I don't need all the bells and whistles and it works flawlessly with no setup, just plug and play. If you need a basic and simple capture interface then this is cheap and seemingly reliable.

I've used this more of as a way of seeing a secondary computer without needing to mess around with another monitor or plugging and unplugging HDMIs into my monitor.You need to use software like OBS to be able to decode and view the signal.There is a slight delay from input to output, you notice the mouse lag behind and its not the most responsive. Not sure if this is the product of how OBS decode the signal.Works in a pinch. Would recommend if you need to view a second computer, say a server or sorts.

Worked but laggy
Worked ok. Did what it advertised.Used it a bit but not yet had it very long.Does not come with software so you must find suitable software yourself and it took me quite a while to find a suitable software product where the lag between moving the mouse and seeing it move was good enough to work with.Reduced a star for lack of software out of the box.Reduced a star for lag.

Excellent video capture
This is a very good quality VC stick, easy to use and with hdmi extender. Good price and excellent performance with OSB program to convert firestick

It's OK.
It works however I can't work out how to get the volume working. I just put a background track onto the edit to help.
