API MELAFIX Freshwater Fish Bacterial Infection Remedy 16-Ounce Bottle

I have been keeping fish for over 25 years and I love the API products. This API Melafix works great. It is a freshwater fish Bacterial Infection Remedy. It comes in various sizes and when used properly will last a long time. Its a great value for the money and will help with Fungal Infection, Fin and Tail Rot, Dropsy and Malawi Bloat just to name a few. It is clear in color and will not cloud your water. POND owners be careful! Or you’ll waste $$$. Although the product itself is GREAT… Don’t do what I did and accidentally buy this instead of The POND Melafix! The Pond Melafix is FIVE (5) Cinco times more concentrated.I have a 460 gallon kiddee pool to treat my sick koi. With the POND Melafix a daily treatment is 45 ML. With this is is 225ML or half the bottle! That’s a big difference over a week or two!

Great bacterial remedy.Luckily, in my 4 years of fish keeping, I've never had to deal with a bacterial infection.. and I keep a variety of fish, shrimp, and snails. Perhaps I can owe it to this product because I've pretty diligently added this product whenever adding new fish to an aquarium.

This medication works really well and you need to follow the instructions. It's great that it didn't kill my aquatic plants!! It does seem to take a little longer to work with my Cory Cats but this does the job it is advertised to do and has been a life saver for probably 15 years now!

Our new fish went from being a super star to an intensive care patient over night. This took care of his bacterial infection quickly.
