The Rainbow Diet Shines as an Excellent Reference and Long Term Guide to Radiant Health and Well Being
I consider Deanna Minich to be a luminary leader in the functional nutrition field as she shares an integrated mind, body, spirit approach to health that is fun and life changing in terms of feeling our best. She has a unique focus on color and how it relates to specific parts of our body similar to the chakras - sharing much expertise around how food and supplements can be an important tool to heal imbalances and to lead us to "radiant" health. Her approach doesn't stop there however and she also shows how to honor and nourish our bodies for optimal health in terms of emotional and spiritual well being as well. This new book is a great complement to her first book, Whole Detox, which was based on a shorter program of health and a holistic approach to detox that extended beyond food. With the Rainbow Diet, she now offers a lifestyle approach based on the same system that really dives deeply into food and supplements specifically as a path to long term well being and radiance. I feel this will be one of my long term go to references to balance my life through food and supplements.

I Love This Book!
Dr. Deanna Minich is spot on in this book! She presents a simple, effective and powerful way to choose foods and understand the interconnectedness between our bodies and our lives. The Rainbow Diet framework is written with the intention of love instead of deprivation and honors each person's individual body. Through the Spectrum Quiz we are able to discover our own colors of the rainbow and see where we need to focus our attention on these seven areas:Red - RootOrange - FlowYellow - FireGreen - LoveAquamarine - TruthIndigo - InsightWhite - SpiritEach of the seven areas represents specific foods, systems/organs of the body, supplements and more.I cannot give this book enough praise. All of the research is well referenced and yet, it is written with a tone of compassion and care making it easy to receive and integrate the information. This book has the power to transform the way we eat in a very natural and authentic way. A must read!

A roadmap for nourishing mind, body and spirit!
The Rainbow Diet is not your run of the mill “diet” book. Instead, it’s a guide for nurturing not just your body, but your spirit. I loved how the various colors in our food were described, how easy the plan was to implement, and how yummy the recipes were! Food is so much more than calories and specific nutrients, as what we eat can nourish the soul. This wonderful book gives readers a roadmap for how to do that!

Great book
As a Holistic Nutrition Coach this book is packed with so much info. From phytonutrients inside different colored fruits and veggies to what purpose they serve. Book also breaks it down by the chakra system. Wonderful quiz to take, tips for getting in all the colors every day. I go back and reference this book often.

Absolutely Love💜
I just received this week and what I’ve read so far is amazing. I’ve always loved Dr. Deanna Minnich’s work and this book follows up as well worth the read. I can hear her presence in the book rather then spit firing facts and a to do list. She really gets people and delivers great in depth applicable info. She’s concise and so gracefully delivers several great tools. She is really a gem and if you like her work, I’d def recommend. I’m excited to apply personally and professionally.

Nice but simplistic.
I'm not really sure what's happening to books but nearly every book that I buy seems to be written in a very simplistic way. I'm not sure whether it's for the mass market and editors and publishers are insisting on simply-worded books, or if the authors just don't write very well. The information, however, is useful. I purchased it because I'm eating whole-foods, plant-based.
