Totally worth it!
If you are considering this product, then I'm sure you are wondering if it's worth the cost. In my opinion the answer is a resounding yes, as Lenovo Star Wars meets and exceeds all of my expectations. I'm a Star Wars fan and a gaming fan, with numerous consoles, PC games and mobile device games in my collection, so I have some perspective. I don't see how any Star Wars fan could resist the opportunity to wield a lightsaber and this system does not disappoint! But it also has more than lightsaber battles alone to keep you entertained; it also includes strategy games such as Dejarik (or Holochess) among many other challenges. The packaging is befitting of high end electronics and can be reused for storage when the game is not in use, though the lightsaber is worthy of keeping out for display. The components are all well made and feel very solid and built to last. Setup was easy for me as the app walks you through the entire process. The app works smoothly on my device and quality of the visuals and audio is very good, though it does drain your battery, so plan accordingly. This is my first experience with the immersive AR style of game, though I have some experience with several full VR games. I discovered quickly that AR doesn't make me feel the "motion sickness" that many people get with full VR so I was able to play as long as I liked with no ill effects physically.Overall I think this is worth the plunge for both Star Wars fans and gamers alike. I hope Lenovo will add additional games to this same platform.

Junk
This is the only thing my son wanted from Santa for Christmas. When I saw it on sale for Black Friday (fifty bucks!) I was thrilled. Santa has never gotten off that easy before. Unfortunately this is a piece of junk. Thankfully my husband tried to use it long before Christmas morning. It's no wonder they were selling it for so cheap. We never could get it to connect. We tried multiple phones, charged and re-charged, installed and deleted the ap, and installed again. We searched the internet for answers and called Lenovo tech support. The tech support was a total joke. When you call they take down your name, address, phone number, email address, etc, etc and only after you give them all that information plus read them every serial number on the box do you find out that they really cannot do anything. The guy literally read us what was written on the box. It was incredible. Don't waste your time or money. I'm packing it up and sending it back.

OK WOW The Force is with this for sure
Bought this as a self Bday present when the price went down to $99 and man was it ever money well spent. As a life long Star Wars fan I can imagine there being a better Star Wars based game this. Its not VR is Augmented Reality which really just means in layman's terms everything looks life size set over the room your are in its not like VR where you just are looking at the screen blocked off from everything else. You want to battle Kylo Ren in the snow on starkiller base ? Turn it on outside in the snow this winter and have at it you see your surroundings wherever you are when you are playing. now me personally I turn out the lights in the house makes it seem so much more intense but I can only imagine playing this out side vs Kylo in the snow or VS Darth Maul in a forest. The holo chess game is surprising fun as can really have to learn the game from scratch and its not simple either :-) the ground battles can be tricky but fun as well. But yes everyone gets this for the light saber battles right ? its worth the $99 for just the light saber battles anyway everything else is just a bonus. PS ... there will be an update later this year where you can fight as a Sith and take on Jedi's OHHHHHHH I cant wait :-) so if your on the fence BUY IT will be the best $99 you spent on Star Wars ever hands down :-) oh and ladies ..... There's Porgs in this thing too PET PORGS ;-)

A whole new Jedi experience!
Absolutely loved it !! It has a learning curve on how to set it up and adjust the space around you for optimum experience, I found myself moving a lot in the beginning and pumping into walls or tables, so I recommend to use it and n kind of open safe space first or watching YouTube videos. it’s an amazing AR experience for any Star Wars fan! Being a Jedi is fun and challenging! I loved The physical exercise of it and moving around every challenge. My only complaint is the lack of content update, I mean once you get through all the levels you expect weekly challenges or updates to challenge the Jedi you’ve become but that’s not there and it’s disappointing.

Your phone will get stuck in the device every time
I wish I could give this a 0 star review. The first time the phone and cartridge were inserted into the headset, it got stuck. It took a lot of work but I finally got the phone out. I was ready to send it back, but my son wanted to try one more time and put the phone back in. Somehow a prong on the cartridge got bent back, and now there is no possible way to get the phone out without breaking the device. I tried contacting Lenovo and had no luck getting through to a speaking human. With no way to get the phone out and no way to contact customer support, I guess we are out $90. Worst purchase ever, and my son is devastated he spent his birthday gift cards on this item.

Headset is too heavy!
The AR, graphics, game play is incredible! I love this thing, problem is, the headset is so incredibly heavy that it physically weighs down my head/neck and makes it too sufferable to play for any duration of time. I am in my 30s, I have a PlayStation VR, zero problems. This is really uncomfortable and would definitely not recommend for children cause of the weight :(

Works well, while it stays cool
I bought this for my son. He enjoys the game a lot. However, it causes the phone to get extremely hot, to the point where the phone will often shutdown because it overheats. Overheating shortens the battery life. Thankfully he is using an older phone that is no longer being used for cellular.
