Trust worthy info all the way
This is the first resource I use to understand what's going on with my aging body. Will is concise and thorough in his explanations. His photos of exercises (done by himself) allow clarity in execution. Also, he offers online access to video demonstrations and explanations. Sometimes, younger people are condescending in their communications with older people. Will speaks directly and clearly with no condescension. We may be older, but we're no less intelligent than younger people. He well-deserves all the accolades he receives.

Simple and effective exercises for the over 50 crowd
I bought this book after watching many videos of Will Harlow's exercises for people over 50 years old. Wow...am I ever impressed with Mr. Harlow! He actually specializes in helping older people with simple and effective exercises to stay active, continue or regain strength and get rid of or lessen pains, so we can live a healthy life. He explains different body parts and muscle movements in detail so well, I'm happy that I don't have to have a medical degree to understand what he's talking about. It's important to know how the body parts work together and what to do if something isn't up to par.I broke a bone several months ago and haven't been able to get around as much since. I had 2 different physical therapists that gave me exercises that really didn't do anything, probably because they both talked and treated me like I was old and feeble. Will Harlow doesn't do that. He's such a young, kind and caring man that shares his knowledge to help people. Just watch some of his videos on the internet -- Will Harlow, HT Physio in Farnham, England and you'll see what I mean.I've been doing several exercises that Mr. Harlow suggested for the types of problems I was having for about 2 weeks now and my mobility has VASTLY improved! I've had more physical gains in these last 2 weeks than I have in the last 6 months. I'm not quite ready for the dance floor yet, but I'll get there. Continuing to move the old bones is not just necessary, it's vital if one wants to live a nice, comfy and fun life...like when we were younger. I refuse to let life pass me by from the couch.HUGE thanks to you, Will Harlow!

Clear, helpful guide
I repeat all the positive review ideas- this is a well written, easy to readbook as well. Straightforward, optimistic attitude throughout, also mixed withclarifications for sometimes complex or confusing topics. Will suggests reading the bookstraight through. I am doing that, and am happily surprised [although I shouldn't be]at all the stuff I didn't know!

Videos more helpful but this book did provide some useful tips.
I discovered Will through YouTube videos and have incorporated several of his exercises which I feel are spot on. Decided to get the book and read through it fairly quickly skimming some areas that didn’t apply to me. I did find some additional tips and exercises. The videos demonstrate proper technique better than the book photos. I wish there had been some information on muscular recovery in older folks, something I have noticed takes longer with age. If I were to do the exercises recommended for maintaining health and those addressing my problem areas (including number of reps and sets in the videos) it would take upwards of 2-3 hours a day! Wish he would take this into account and offer options. The last part of the book is very general and common knowledge in my book (advice on sleep, meditation, diet etc.). He could have left it out. He highly recommends the use of saunas for joint and muscular pain. I wish he had specified what he means by “sauna” as being from UK some terms are different than US…..dry sauna, steam room, hot tub? I suppose they all have benefit. With arthritis I may consider doing this in the winter. The cold therapy idea made me laugh. We “older” folks may give ourselves a heart attack doing this to such an extreme. All in all, I am grateful for the videos and book. I have marked several areas in the book that I plan on referring back to and use moving forward.
