I absolutely love these Govee smart lightbulbs — they’ve genuinely made my life so much easier. I accidentally left mine at my old place and had to repurchase them immediately because I can’t go without them!One of my favorite things is being able to control the lights straight from my phone. Whether I’m already in bed or just feeling a little lazy, I can turn the lights on or off, change the color, or adjust the brightness without moving an inch. The app is super user-friendly, and you can even customize colors to set the perfect mood.I’m not a fan of LED strips — I find them a bit tacky — so these bulbs are the perfect alternative. They give me that same ambient lighting effect without taking up space or messing with the room’s aesthetic.Another bonus: I use the schedule feature to set my lights to turn on in the morning and off at night. It helps me wake up gently without having to jump out of bed. Whether this is your first time buying a smart bulbs or you’re upgrading current smart bulbs, these Govee ones are the best on the market, simple.I done a huge amount of research before buying smart bulbs. I had used Govee products before and these were on offer so I decided to give them a try as the Hue bulbs are insanely overpriced and more awkward to set up as you need a bridge.Set up is extremely quick, pop them in, turn on the light, open up the app which will auto pick up the bulb and you connect them, done!I’ve used Govee products before that didn’t disappoint and these are no different. I’m genuinely shocked at the price, they are a complete bargain!The pure white is very white with the warm white being a perfect warm glow. All the colour ranges are deep and vibrant colours. The brightness is also fantastic.There’s an endless amount of customisation you can do in the Govee app which is a huge selling point.They also seamlessly integrate with an Alexa device / smart home ecosystem.I have now bought Govee bulbs for every room in the house, they haven’t missed a beat once.Highly recommended, these are the best smart bulbs on the market.If you’re thinking about buying your first smart bulbs, these are the ones to go for! 10/10

These are great, aside from one VERY annoying issue -- unless I'm missing something you can't set them to return to a default color/brightness when they're turned off/on at the switch. So for example if you set it for a dim purple color, and then turn off the lightswitch, then in the morning when you turn it on, it'll still be the dim purple color, and you have to go find your phone and open the app and it's a hassle. I wish you could set an initial "on" color setting so it would function like a normal light when initially turned on at the switch. But otherwise, they're nice and bright when you want them to be, or you can turn the brightness down for a soft glow. I do wish it got just slightly dimmer than the lowest so I could use it as a night light but it's fine. The color presets are good and the app makes it very easy to connect them. You can pre-set colors you like, and there are animated settings too, with some ways to design your own, schedule them, etc. Parts of the app are not easy to use - it gets very confusing with the automations - but I don't need them personally. One thing that was very hard to find was the sunrise setting - I wanted it to do a nice sunrise effect where it starts sort of reddish and dim and gradually gets brighter and yellower. It has one but it took me literal days to find it, after spending all sorts of time trying to figure it out in the automations. You can't do a scheduled automation that both changes color and brightness, as it turns out, but there IS a pre-set sunrise effect that you can sync with the actual sunrise or schedule. It's in the "Timer" section and the "Wake Up" option says it only does brightness, but it does to the sunrise colors too. It's lovely in the morning.
