Easy to use, did the job

We had to wait until the weather got cooler to be ablet o use this outside on our shed roof as it was very sticky. Went on well but the next day when the heat/sun came back it started to peel off so had to pin it in certain areas.

I cannot express how fantastic this product is. I used it to add extra waterproofing to a sauna roof and it worked a treat. You MUST use a heat gun to apply otherwise the tar adhesive won’t stick, although u was applying in winter. The material is very flexible and has a thin layer of metal inside which makes it look just like led. Love it.

So repairing a tear in your roof felt from the inside is not easy - and I'd tried a couple of waterproof, ultra-sticky tapes only to find that after 48 hours, the tape that was impossible to unstick from most things it touched had become well and untruly unstuck from my roof felt.So a little more research and I found I should be using Flashband tape - hence buying this product. No, not easy to repair the tear from the inside, to get the tape on the outer side, between the roof felt and roof tiles - but that's where it being not so sticky to start with really helped - you could get the first strip at the bottom in place, then use the hairdryer on it for a short time and press it all down really firmly. The last top strip was harder but it all worked. And it all stayed stuck!!!! It's still stuck. Really impressed with my handiwork and now the roof felt won't tear any further and isn't letting in any draughts either. Very happy customer.

Great product, light touch of a heat gun essential for repairing roof felt from below (e.g. in the attic).

This product would not stick no matter what was done very disappointed waste of money this is terrible would not stick no matter what we done wouldn’t recommend waste of money

Great stuff. Used it to seal a gap in my guttering. Sticks well and is strong stuff. I'd buy it again.

Purchased this Bostik Flashband Self Adhesive Flashing Tape to cover the gap between new pergola rood and wall to which it was attached.The product was easy to roll out and work with, cut to length with a stanley knife, remove backing and then attach. Adhesion to both the wood of the pergola (excellent) and cement / brick wall (descent) was more than enough to meet requirements. Flashing sticks to itself well also for few patches required on corners etc.After being down a few weeks adhesion is good and is keeping rain out as expected. Would by again.
