Source of Algae. DO NOT BUY
Before I connect a new filter, I always run a cleaning cycle on my coffee machine. After 2 weeks of use, I noticed algae growing in my coffee machine water tank (never saw this in 2 years) . Absolutely disgusting. So I washed the tank thoroughly and ran several cleaning cycles on the coffee machine and connecting another filter from the same pack (at this point I didn’t suspect it could be the source).A week later, I noticed the water being quite murky. Cleaned the tank throughly again and ran a few cleaning cycles on the machine again. This time, I suspected the filter and so I filled a container (pictured) and the water tank with the same water and put a new filter from the pack into the container. This is them next to each other after a week. Disgusting! Do not buy and I expect Amazon to take action against this unhygienic and dangerous product
