This fits perfectly in my Lodge 10" pan and was originally purchased for smash burgers. However, I've ended up using it far more often for brats, sausage patties, bacon, ham steak, and pretty much anything that benefits from a good press for a better sear.When I removed it for seasoning, I noticed the screws holding the handle were longer than expected, which makes the press feel sturdy and solid when pressing. It's heavy enough to provide a consistent weight, ensuring the food gets a great sear on the grill or griddle.After seasoning it with several thin coats of flax oil, baked in the oven, cleaning it is a breeze—just a quick wipe with hot water after each use. Overall, I’m impressed with how often I find myself reaching for this press. What I initially thought would be a specialized tool has turned out to be incredibly versatile, helping me with a wide range of dishes I regularly cook in my cast iron skillets.

This is a good product and was as advertised. I did a bad job of measuring the pan I was going to use it with, so I thought the press would fit well, but really wish it was a 9.5 inch diameter. Other than that, it's fine.

This is a solid, quality made product. It is the perfect fit for my 10-in wrought iron frying pan. The handle is a large and smoothly finished piece of wood that's a good grip for your hands and stays cool to the touch. The press is an evenly distributed heavy weight that keeps your bacon, sausage or whatever you're pressing flat in the pan. It has nice deep channels on the bottom which helps the grease flow around the pan. This is important to keep your food being pressed from drying out. I applied a heavy coat of oil when it first arrived and it was good to go with no sticking. It's easy to wipe off and keep clean. I've used several different types of bacon presses and this is definitely a quality product. I highly recommend it.
