Charger will not charge batteries. Stays on constant red when batteries are put in charger.

I picked this up hoping that the batteries would be compatible with an older style battery no longer sold. unfortunately they weren't but the charger does work to recharge the batteries that I already have and given its size and portability, I'll definitely be using this charger instead of my older one.

I have 5mp Canon SureShot and this was a great replacement for my charger and batteries, which were lost some time ago. Nice to have my camera back, even though I use the camera on my phone for most things now.

These Kastar NB-8L Batteries with USB Charger are a great replacement for our old camera batteries. We have a couple simple point and shoot Canon cameras that keep around because some they're simple to operate and easily take great photos. We also like that photos are not automatically sent out to the internet, and we can easily choose which shots to share later. We chose this battery and charger set mostly for the two included batteries, but the the USB charger is a nice bonus since we will be able to charge in the car now too. The batteries charge well in both the original and USB chargers, and work as expected. We would choose Kastar again.
