Wolf in sheep's clothing. Nice little portable soldering iron.
As the title reads this little unassuming soldering iron looks like a light weight, but so far it is a monster. The compact size makes it easy to transport and the case contains almost everything you would need to make small, delicate repairs. At first I wasn't sure how I would like it as I am used to my station with a larger iron, not huge, but not this small either. I got it out of the box and as soon as I plugged it in, THIS IS NOT A CORDLESS SOLDERING IRON, it came to life. The display shows the firmware version then it goes to the information screen. It doesn't immediately get hot, but you can program it to warm when plugged in, I will not set mine to do that with my luck I would burn my house down because I would go off in search of some forgotten item and come back to a mess. So for me it is best left to turn it on when I am ready for it.The three tips are small and easy to install and remove. If the tip isn't inserted completely a code will show on the screen prompting you to check the tip. Once the tip is installed correctly the error immediately clears. The temperature can be increased by 50 degrees by default. There are so many options on this unit that it can be customized to your liking.I recently had to replace a couple surface mount LED chips in the rear-view mirror of my car. The tip I have on my station iron was just a little too big, but I was able to get it done. If I would have had the S60 the job would have been much more simplistic with these precision tips. The iron works on 12 volts and the screen keeps track of what voltage the iron is receiving. It has its own block and usb-C cable. It has a small sponge and tip rack. Instructions are a little unclear but not so much that you can't figure out how to make the iron your own.I do a lot of field repairs on small electronics, and this will make those jobs easier as I won't have to carry my big, cumbersome iron with me.At full temperature for about 10 minutes the iron did not get too hot to hold, it didn't really get hot in the hand at all.The iron is very light and comfortable in the hand, like a large pencil actually. It is easy to maneuver in to the tight spots where most large tip irons are more cumbersome. As I said before this isn't for big jobs but it is going to be useful for lots of small ones.I hope it performs in the long term as well as the packaging and the craftsmanship appears.

Absolutely does not work with most USB-C chargers
It feels great. The interface is great. It seems like it's a much better alternative to other USB/portable irons, but it just absolutely doesn't work with most USB-C Power Delivery chargers I have. With most, it will trip the over-current protection the second the heater comes on. I have one power bank that can deliver full power, but even my 100W Anker Prime charger won't work. Changing settings hardly helps. By the time I get a voltage and power setting that won't make it cut off, it's just not powerful enough to be useful. It does, in fact, work with the included power supply, but is only 20ish watts with it. Not great. The included tip was also trash and died... pretty much immediately.Maybe a firmware update could fix these problems. But as it stands, the product is well designed on the outside, but nearly useless.

Great iron, needs better quality tips.
The tips are not very good. None of them hold solder on the very tip, which is where I need it ti be for iatrical precision soldering work I do. The Iron itself is great. Now to find better tips.

Compact USB powered soldering iron, but NOT 60W with the included charger
As an electronics hobbyist I have a number of soldering irons and stations, but most are bulky and not very portable for work away from the bench. I'm familiar with SEQURE and own their now-discontinued power screwdriver, and have seen some positive online reviews of their USB soldering irons, so thought I'd give this one a try. It's a very compact soldering iron, using the ubiquitous JBC-style C210 micro cartridges. It ships with a single K (knife tip) cartridge. It also includes a USB-A to USB-C cable and a USB-A QC charger. This is the main drawback to this set -- the supplied QC charger is only rated up to 12V @ 1.5A, or 18W max. So for all the advertising of 60W output, you won't get anywhere near that with the supplied charger. When I replace the included cable with a heavier wattage cable and use a PD USB-C supply capable of delivering 65W or more, then the iron can use the entire 60W (12V @ 5A) it's capable of. So I strongly recommend upgrading the include cable and charger if you want fast heat up and recovery times at high temps. It heats up quickly, and the included tip is serviceable but for optimal performance you may prefer genuine JBC cartridges; however, one genuine JBC tip can can cost almost as much as this entire kit, so you may choose to save some money and buy new tips more often. SEQURE now has an improved version of this iron, the S60P, which can take up to 21V and includes a 65W charger in the kit. It is more expensive, however, so if you already have a higher powered supply and cable as I did, then this will provide the same performance for less money. Also note that SEQURE provides firmware updates on their website. This iron shipped with v1.11 firmware, and at the time of this review there a 1.15.2 version available on their site. I've downloaded but not yet applied this firmware. The changelog simply says "System optimization function and menu" so no mention of any performance improvements.Just ignore the other review here who bashes this iron as not being "cordless." It never claimed to be cordless, it claims to be portable. What makes it portable (in addition to its size) is the ability to run it from a portable power source, including a rechargeable USB powerbank or XT60 battery pack, common with RC enthusiasts in the field. It is extremely portable, but that doesn't require being cordless. People should pay more attention to what they're buying instead of giving unfair reviews.
