I do wish there was a larger size option, but this has truly been a worthwhile purchase. I would definitely buy it again!.

These are great! Very simple to use. Comes with everything you need other than bait and a solid line to tie it down with. Can easily catch crab, crawfish, and smaller fish with this. They have held up well after a couple of trips to the shore so far, and a trip to the river. These are a great kit for starters, simple to use, and durable. I can easily recommend this.

Bought this for my husband to catch crawfish. Works great. These are a bit on the small side but still great to get the job done!

Item was easy to use. The bait bags are screen fabric. The only blue crab I caught in both traps for 4 days was too small and ate through the bait bag. They were sitting next to folding cage type traps, which did catch some.I did catch a bluegill though.These traps may work for small fish, but not for blue crabs

dont think the small size would benifital for larger pieces

This is a well built heavy duty trap that appears to have had a lot of time taken to ensure its construction. I have not used it yet but I can tell this will hold up to dragging on rocky lake creek bottoms. A unique quality about this trap is the door hatch to empty it. Other similar traps do not even discuss how to empty them. I assume they expect you to stick your hand in the entry holes and risk getting clamped by the crawfish. This trap solves that issue with the open hatch. Excited to use it. Very happy so far.

Going to the Texas coast? Rockport that has fishing piers? So easy to use and lots of fun for the kids. Just keep it baited, check it often and you can leave it in for days. Use a fish head for bait or any stinky fish for bait. It will catch fish and crabs.
