This lock is undoubtedly very sturdy and should defeat the elements with its decent Hammerite type paint finish also. I chose this type as I have trouble reading the dial type safes without my glasses. Setup of the combination is quite simple using the tool provided but a small screwdriver will do the trick also. Do note that the combination you choose can be entered in any order so that reduces security if you have a very patient thief but you can also use the rubber cover provided to help disguise it and keep out of the rain.Fitting is just a question of drilling up to six holes (four should do) and screwing it to the wall. In use the front part comes away from the back unit so it’s a good idea to clip (one is provided) the key to it and it can act as a chunky key ring that you are unlikely to mislay. Replacing is a bit fiddly as you have to remember to enter the combo beforehand but after a few uses it becomes second nature and our health visitors have seen this type before so there were no issues.All in all a decent value and secure key safe.

The wall safe was easy to install and set up. I am very happy with its robust structure.

Bought for grandparents. Was easy to install fit's perfectly and came with everything needed. Been fitted a while now been cold wet and snowy. Still going so obviously weatherproof. Looks secure too.

This is the 3rd we have had. Mams carer dropped the first one and broke the number, so ordered another. Same carer has dropped 2nd one so had to replace it. Not dropped from a great height, so not very sturdy. I wouldn't buy again, but can't be bothered to drill new holes in wall to fit another box.
