Since i don't have a disposal because of my septic tank, my drain fills up with debris every few minutes. This collander allows me to empty broths and soups into the sink and it strains out the material that would normally block my drain. It also fits the sink perfectly. I did alot of research on these collanders for the sink and this one was definitely the most preferred. I can see why. It is rather large and i could envision a second smaller one for my other sink. Overall, I am very pleased.

These work great for rinsing and draining small fruits, vegetables or small pasta. They are the perfect size and come in a 2-pack. Good value for money.

Holds a pound of cooked pasta easily. Put in dishwasher about 10 times and has held up well.

Love that's its stainless steel yet not heavy. Works well. Easy to clean.

This is a replacement for a plastic rice colander that I still have. The plastic one has ridges throughout the inside that make the rice difficult to remove. This one is smooth inside and much easier to empty.

Workes well. Rice doesn't spill. Great rice washer.

I can use a mesh strainer that has multi uses, whereas this piece takes up space in my kitchen cupboards and my rice goes through the little holes (basmati). It's ok if you have the space.

Works great. Does not rust. So handy when cleaning fruit and vegetables.
