We bought this to replace WIDI adapters. It was easy to connect, worked well. The most attractive part is when it isn't connected and receiving a signal it displays a info page. Easy to follow instructions for our team members to follow to get connected without the need to contact IT. They can have meetings and we can do other things. Really neat idea! We have ordered 3 more for other office displays.

We needed to find an alternative for the Microsoft wireless display adapter, and we ended up finding an upgrade! We have multiple conference rooms with tvs at my work and some of the Window laptops would not connect to the Microsoft WDA. When Microsoft discontinued them, we found these and LOVE that you can cast Apple devices to it. And every Windows laptop has been able to cast effortlessly. Devices do not need to be connected to WiFi, which is an added bonus. All that needs to be done is connect to the TV and cast! We're in the process of replacing all of our Microsoft devices with these.

Positiv:1. Keine Probleme bzgl. der Entfernung von ca. 7 m.2. Kabellängen waren für meine Anwendung genau richtig, auch die beigelegte kurze HDMI-Verlängerung war sinnvoll.Negativ:1. Kompliziert, um zum Setup zu gelangen.2. Unklar, wie sich die Einstellungen im Setup auswirken. Z. B. kann die Bildschirmauflösung im Setup ausgewählt werden und auch in den Windows-Einstellungen. Die Einstellung im Setup hat jedoch keine Auswirkung gezeigt und die Auswirkungen der Windows-Einstellungen sind unklar: Bei 4K-Bildschirm konnte maximal 1920x1080 ausgewählt werden, bei einem Beamer mit 1280x800 war stets ein dunkler Rand und dieser immer nahezu gleich breit, egal wie klein oder groß die Auflösung gewählt wurde.3. Am gravierendsten war noch, dass Bilder, die in eine PowerPoint-Präsentation eingebunden waren, ab und zu nicht vollständig angezeigt wurden, das heißt, vom Bild wurde etwa nur das obere Drittel aufgebaut. Es passierte auch, dass, bei Bildschirmmodus "Erweitert" das Hintergrundbild nicht komplett aufgebaut wurde.Fazit:Für meine Anwendungsfälle und meine Gerätekonstellation ist der Artikel vollkommen unbrauchbar.
