This is a great fan...my mom and I love it! I wanted a fan on our deck for days with no breeze, but mostly, I smoke outside, and mom goes out there with me, so I wanted something to make sure any smoke is blown away from her. I tried a tower fan, but even the slim design takes up space...and space on our deck is at a premium...so a wall fan seemed like a great idea.Since I rent, I couldn't install the fan on my house wall, so I had the idea to install it on one of the 4 x4 deck posts. Little did I know what I was in for! First of all, the fan wall bracket is wider than any normal wall stud, so even if I could have installed it on my house, there was no way to attach it securely, imo. Turns out, the bracket is wider than the 4 x4 post, too. The fan came with 3 expansion bolts, which I had never seen before and had no idea how to install...so I was a bit flummoxed as to how I was going to get it attached to the post.Therefore, I decided to see if there might be a video to show how to install this fan...and luckily, there was! What I found was a video showing how to install the fan on a 4 x 4 post using a U-bolt...and not using the expansion bolts at all. So that's what I did, and it worked great. I've provided some pictures of how my fan is installed.I have to say, I debated on giving it 1 less star, just because of the problems with that wall bracket, but honestly, the fan works great, is quiet, and does what I need for it to do, so I went ahead and gave it 5 stars.Still, I think whoever designed that wall bracket should have to go out and install these fans for a time...lol

This is a great fan for our upper deck in the back yard. We use an outdoor table cloth when it rains to protect it and outdoor gfi plugs. It works great and covers the area 12 x 12 well. Have to move is position as oscillation is not 180 but that is fine for us. Main reason was gnats during the summer and secondary cooling. Have yet to fully test but initial set up works. If it changes - will come back and update review. Noise level is not bad at all.

Absolutely perfect for what we needed! Our porch’s ceiling fan sits in a weird spot, and can’t really reach where our sitting area is. Installed this fan and it’s made a HUGE difference. It is loud, so keep that in mind if that’s something that would bother you.

This is a well built fan - soild and sturdy. My 4 star rating is a reflection of the product description. Says it is water proof but the user manual cleary states that is not the case.

Awesome fans.. This fan will move lots of air..We purchased this one to mount at the lake house on the patio.. Its quiet compared to most fans.. We run it on low.. Its plenty for us.. I ordered to more for my shop

Good motor for both the fan and the oscillation. I like the tethered remote control to keep it from getting lost. Assembly and installation was easy. Makes our hot tub/cabana much more comfortable in the hot Gulf Coast summers.

Definitely moves some air around. Got two for my 20X12 gazebo. The center fan I have just wasn’t getting it done. The addition of these two fans cools it off big time.

Works well.Just installed in my garage. Time will tell. Little bit noisey but moves a lot on air.
