Expensive but worth it
Great for creating a stable base for big builds. Love that it's clear and we use it to help learn about colour mixing with the coloured tiles, - red and yellow make orange etc.

Great base product
These larger tiles are great to use as a base or as part of the main construction. My grandson loves these tile sets.

Large tiles
The media could not be loaded. These are brilliant we need buy lots more. They are now concrete in most creations very sturdy.

Disappointing
I ordered the large Connetix base plates based on the good reviews, and thought they would be a practical addition to the Connetix tiles my children already have. The tiles arrived quickly and well packaged, but unfortunately the tiles had multiple scuffs and specs of dirt trapped within the actual tiles - especially noticeable with the tiles being clear. In the hopes that this was a one off, i returned the tiles and reordered the same, but i had the exact same problem with specs of dirt trapped within the tiles. Returned again.I have since attempted to order the tiles in another colour from another company, and again the tiles had specs of dirt trapped in the tiles. We've never had problems with any of our other Connetix tiles so i have no idea what is going on.
