EXTREMELY PLEASE WITH MY CHOICE OF THIS MODEL
Choosing a smart toilet is difficult, because even within the same company, the various models can be so similar in specifications and appearance. After much study, and eventually in consultation with Lee from Eplo, I chose the DP7 Pro. I didn't want to wish I had the tank after the fact, because my water pressure isn't always great. Consequently, I have had zero issues with flushing or other functions.Delivery was quick, and the toilet was in perfect condition. Installation is straightforward, in theory, but individual circumstances may vary. For me, I had two challenges: the weight and the location of my water inlet. I could not negotiate the weight, targeting the mounting brackets and wax ring by myself or even with an assistant. I literally needed three people due to the limited space. Once placed, the rest was relatively easy. In my particular case, the location of the water inlet was too close to the toilet, no matter what I tried (e.g. short, 90° anglestops, etc). I ended up having to mount/direct the inlet valve inside the toilet's rear open cavity. This is advised against by the manufacturer, but I had no choice. I can still access the shutoff valve, but it certainly wouldn't be easy or obvious to anyone else. Once this issue was overcome, it was on to the toilet itself.Everything worked perfectly, and as it should. The toilet washes itself very well 99% of the time, and the heated seat, lighted bowl and other features are all effective and well thought out. I did have to contact Lee with some minor functionality questions, but he was extremely responsive, knowlegeable and helpful. Here's a tip: although the auto-seat open/close is attractive, it's only viable if you have a true water closet, or your toilet is located physically apart from the rest of the bathroom, otherwise due to its sensitivity, you'll trigger it every time you walk past. The auto-open/close can be deactivated, which I reluctantly did. So, if your situation is like mine, you might skip this feature and save some money.I can recommend this model highly. Everything works well, and it has every feature you could want. I have zero regrets in chosing this Eplo model. I have some unfounded worry for how long everything will continue to work perfectly and what would happen if a component should fail, but Lee assured me that this model has been "battle-tested" overseas since 2022, and is solid and reliable. I am hopeful that this proves to be the case with mine as well.

Almost perfect
I've had our EPLO D7 pro installed for about a week and here are my impressions.1. Packaging / initial inspection: The toilet was packaged well and I didn't find any damage or defects. The toilet appears to be well built.I was missing the battery pack from my delivery. The customer service was pretty good about getting me a replacement. It took about a week, but they scrounged one up and sent it to me.1. Installation: The install is pretty straight forward. One reason I like this toilet is you can use the existing flange and don't have to drill additional holes in your floor like other models. I had to grind down the sides of the T bolts so they would nest inside the plastic wings that mount to the flange. They are designed to be used with the supplied plastic sewer flange that is thicker than the metal one I have already in place. Getting it lowered in place over the wings was a little fun, but we got it there. It is a 2 person operation. Once I installed the supplied screws into the wings, the toilet seemed pretty secure. I caulked it to the floor for additional stability. The hoses are 1/2 inch compression fittings so I did change my valve out from 3/8 to 1/2 inch. I'm not sure how much different this makes in performance, but I wanted to eliminate any flow restrictions.Performance: When I first powered it on, the toilet went through its self test. After that I did the manual check of the functions and everything worked fine. The toilet has a great flush. I was a little concerned about this based on some other reviews, but it has no issues and the way it circulates the water during the flush keeps the bowl clean. The lid and seat opening work great. I was worried the lid would be opening every time I walked near it, but you have to be less than 2 feet from it to sense you and open. The heated seat is nice and warm too. I can't tell much about the deoderizer or the UV sterilization other than they are operational.Performance: It has worked without issue. I like the fact that as a guy, I can use the toilet standing up and once I walk away, it knows I was there and flushes. They have done a good job on the the toilet operation logic. The air dry is OK, probably like most other bidet toilets. It is a nice warm breeze and if you sit on the toilet for 5 minutes you will probably get dry, but I usually end up grabbing a couple squares of TP before that to do the final dry. What's keeping it from being perfect: This is not a deal breaker, but I was hoping for a stronger bidet stream. It's OK, just not quite as strong as I would like it and not as strong as our Toto Washlet bidet seat. I contacted customer service and they were great about explaining why it is the way it is. That doesn't help any with a stronger stream, but I'm am now more educated on the bidet operation. The water temp is great, the movement of the wand is great and I will get used to the bidet stream pressure in time. One thing I did during the install was to remove the screen in the hose T. I could see it getting clogged with mineral deposits over time and affecting water flow. There is another screen in the bidet circuit, but you have to remove the entire bidet assembly to get to it. I'll wait on that one.My one long term concern is how I will keep the toilet working. With all the parts in this toilet, some will fail in time. There is no supplied parts list. When a part breaks, I'm not sure how well EPLO is set up to provide replacement parts. Time will tell.
